Your FAQ mentions episodes, could you give a brief overview of what this will entail?
It's a way to structure our game development - instead of having one long alpha/beta phase were we gradually pile on features, we plan to polish each episode and get all bugs squashed before moving on to implementing new features. So we will try to group features that relate to each other  and put them in an episode with a theme (survival/farming/manufacturing/mining) and new maps. But each new episode should ideally contain all the features from former episodes as well.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Hmm interesting, I guess the game is to early in development to know any system requirements for the game?

Ah, that makes sense.  I was worried that you intended to make an 'episodic' game like The Walking Dead.

My interest just skyrocketed :)

Oh man this made my day.  PTW.  I thought maybe this awesome concept had gone off to die under a crawlspace or something.  Good to hear things are very much well and alive.

Posting to Watch, and I have to say I really like the idea of episodes or "arcs" like in DF.

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

I read the lore, and I'm wondering if you could define the tech level/resource crisis a bit better? A minor nitpick on the lines of having interstellar travel and self-replicating machines, even if the (Edit: near) FTL takes a couple of centuries, you'd think that the skimmers mentioned would have little trouble getting back into orbit, or deploying mechanical probes over humans, a stop in an asteroid belt or two would have provided minerals, etc.

I am pumped for what you'll be doing with the human personality's. Even before they got here i smell interesting reasons for leaving, and with this lot thrown in I'd very much like to hear what you have planned.

From what I understand from the story, the ship that left earth for the new planet did not have FTL capabilities. It was built to be rugged, with parts and plans that could easily be reproduced with found resources.  In the time it took the ship to reach its destination, technology on Earth has greatly advanced, but not enough to create an easy passage back and forth, or to drop new resources and whatnot.  Only information through slow upload/download over FTL distances.

At the starting point of the game, the whole plotline is set for the newly arrived.  People are coming out of cryosleep, get stranded on the planet, and have to survive.  Everything else will come out via updates and/or expansion 'episodes'.

My apologies, but you have to admit that 200 years is getting close.
