The point of this thread was to be a fun little event where people sometimes give back to community. If you're getting cranky and/or constantly refreshing the page looking solely for free stuff you're missing the point of the thread and are being a bad sport.
If people keep getting annoyed about derails or losing their cool about missing giveaways, Toady will be forced to lock it and nobody will get anything.

Please don't make me add rules to the OP/thread. Continued intentional derails and fake giveaways are threatening to close this thread that has made a bunch of people happy. The behavior has caused at least one person to complain to Toady and I would be sad if these random giveaways ended. Thank you.

You seem to have mistaken this thread for the "Ask for a game of your choice and receive it!" thread. I believe that one is called "Christmas," and you need to look for it IRL instead of here.
