I must make a note to buy some cats from traders at the next opportunity and see if I can chain up a breeding pair someplace clean. Having kittens wandering the hallways will be a good way of identifying patches of paralytic poison that still need to be taken care of.

Ahh, Archmage is currently overseer in moltenchannels, i hope that this doesnt cause too much of a delay (He makes Really good, detailed reports). He's just finished most of summer.

Yeah the trouble with Moltenchannels is the Low FPS. That's a real thing on any fortress that gets quite old.

I also like to ensure everything's labeled alright. Someone else can go ahead and have my turn while I finish that up.

I'm not quite set-up to play this weekend so if you want to jump ahead of me that's ok with me- otherwise I'd be starting Sunday provided I don't need to re-install everything on my computer again...

Apparently computers don't like running out of power in the middle of security updates-

Edit: managed some extra free time and stayed up a bit later than I should have but I managed to take care of all the performance problems so provided someone else didn't go-ahead I'll start.

Just so you all know, I left the fort in prestige condition (only the babies were below ecstatic ), and the only thing that I was planning on doing, that I didn't finish, was an animal storage area (next to the entrance).

So... Go nuts
