Russano turns his head slightly towards Ryan and shoots as meaningful a glance as he is capable while wearing such heavy, encumbering armor. They really need those automated defenses disabled and the clumsy technomancer is probably their best shot at getting it done before they try to knock out the Overseer and end up shot themselves. "You have sparked my interest. Continue." he answers.

Keep talking.

"I'm glad you're interested," the Overseer continued, ready to explain these sorts of operations in further detail.
"You see, most of our success comes from our overwhelming manpower. We can mine out asteroids within decades and we are the dominant force in the markets for rare shipbuilding materials. We also have the most advanced technology out of pretty much any mining company you can name. You'll figure out soon enough."

He stood up and began to walk about. "We need you to take your men and intercept the Axis, then bring it back to Praxis Station, Geminus Alpha. We will have agents there who will meet up and assist you in faking a number of black market transactions. That is also how you will receive your rewards."
Wallace handed some yellow sheets of paper to Russano, Ryan, and Davis with various information about the operation printed on each.
"This is pretty standard piracy, but we haven't worked with you before. Since we are giving you all the information you'll need about the security present in the convoy, there shouldn't be any significant risk. Please read the papers over."

Ryan pretends to read over the paper that was handed to him... since they really going to do what the is saying. Instead it seemed from Russono's glance he wanted Ryan to do something about the turrets... though Ryan wasn't sure exactly what Russono wanted... maybe taking control over the turrets is it? Having lot's of extra firepower for when/if things become a lot more dangerous?

While I'm is pretending to read the yellow paper, try to place all the closeby turrets under my complete control.... at least of the turrets I can find. Though if that is too much, then just disabling them should do...

((Been busy lately, but I'm trying to return to normal activities. So, bump.))

"My pleasure." Russano answers with his altered voice, sounding like a more unrefined man than he actually is - all in the name of acting the role properly. He once again takes a glance at Ryan, hoping the amnesiac man has caught the idea he tried to convey just now.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

(nyahah! Sorry, a mixture of forgetfulness and slight loss of interest.)

Davis delves more aggressively into the man's mind to determine who he is before he loses his tag.

Roll 39

Spoiler: superBlast, AKA Ryan (click to show/hide)

-----

Quote from: Characters Present
Dominic Zoshan
Kenjaro

HEN, AKA Dominic Zoshan

"Gladly."
As Kenjaro arms himself, Dominic unfolds his messenger and sends out a message to his party's private channel.

Quote from: Dominic Zoshan, Hat Fancier
To Ryan, Davis Theul, Russano Neskratt:

I picked up a guy who wants to escape. He seems skilled at combat. Will talk back after rescuing his friend.

Zoshan

Unholy_Pariah, AKA Kenjaro

"Excellent..." Kenjaro replies, trying to figure out a course of action. The rest of the workers were in the training room, which was where equipment was stored and the hallway to the worker's quarters was. They would probably be recalled back to their quarters after being briefed on lockdown procedures, while a squad of troops searched the mines for signs of intrusion. Knowing Codo, he might still be in his cave* down in the mines.

*place where Codo smuggles equipment and items he can find. It's blocked by a fairly secure slab of rock and is located in a mining tunnel which is no longer being expanded for structural reasons.

Quote from: Characters Present
Ryan
Davis Theul
Russano Neskratt
Overseer Wallace

Maxinum McDreich, AKA Davis Theul

[6] Davis delves deeper into his target's memories, analyzing them at the source and attempting to figure out whose mind he was reading before his focus expired. He ends up being able to perceive what his host is perceiving, in perfect clarity.

Quote from: Mindreader (Arthur Wescott) (Tag duration left: 2/2)
Note: You are possessing this person. This is written from the perspective of the host's body.
You are: Lieutenant Arthur Wescott of the Van Buren Private Security Fleet
Your orders:
-Refuel all ships under your command at Phoenix Star station
-Report back with all relevant information regarding the security of the station
Your interests:
-Get promoted to the rank of naval Commander
-Smuggle your captured uncle off of Phoenix Star station

*You are walking through a circular sliding door, into a hallway. To the right is a military planning room. To the left is the barracks/armory. Behind you are the interrogation rooms and brig.*
You begin to say, "I need Commander MacConnel on radio, quickly."
*You suddenly stop walking, lose control of your motion, and drift sideways onto the wall. You can still see (although you can't blink) and hear footsteps and movement in the surrounding rooms. Nobody sees you yet.*

superBlast, AKA Ryan

Davis seems to slump over against the table, his head tilted downwards. He is still breathing.

[5] Ryan does the same, trying to look like he is reading. His armor hides his expressions, so he is free to look around and break into the room's electronics based on whatever he could see on the walls and ceiling.
Starting with a little piece of exposed wiring on an outlet mounted to the wall at floor-level, he gains an awareness of the room's entire network of devices connected to the room's power sources. To test out whether or not he could control it this time, he made the lights flicker momentarily. The overseer looked up at the lamp overhead, but otherwise continued watching Russano closely as he read the papers the overseer had given him.
The turrets might be more difficult to control since they had an electronic killswitch like the one the overseer had on his remote. Ryan hesitated before testing his control of them.
Ryan also noticed that there was another retracting panel on the side of the room opposite to the entrance. The panel itself was hardly visible, but now that he was aware of its existence Ryan noticed the seam and figured that a human could fit through, if it were open. There were no electronics directly behind that particular panel.

Caellath, AKA Russano Neskratt

The papers give a summary of the companies involved and the colony's plans. The ship is leaving for the world of Winfield in the Centauri frontier. The escort consists of two frigates under the command of a mercenary group called the Ardari. As for the ship itself, it's quite small and is only transporting about 15000 people--trained professionals, most likely. That would explain why the overseer has his sights on such a tiny vessel. Anyway, Russano was sure that the actual leader of the Bloodhound Clan would be more than delighted to take up the offer.

Wallace sits down on the opposite end of the table. He starts pouring out a glass of Helmet Wine for himself.
"You sir?" he offers, lifting the bottle off of the table one more time.

Codo is probably still hiding out in his lair, its basically just a room hidden behind a false door in an abandoned mining tunnel but hes got it stocked full of equipment and things the guards "misplaced." Ill take you to him and we can discuss how were gonna leave in safety.

head off to codo's cave

((Sorry i got distracted by real life for a bit there, ill try to prevent that in the future.))
