With his mighty voice and power, Udil raised his hand in the air and cried out into the sky: "I call out to you, God of Darkness! I summon you to me! Reveal yourself and let us speak, before I liberate my people from your grasp!"
"What is it you want, GodSlayer? I've business to attend to in these lands, and your presence here does not fare well.

"My business is clear as day. And since you know who I am, you probably know what I am capable of. Right now I stand ready with my people and all of my might and can strike you at any moment. I can overwhlem you and destroy you if I wish so, or call upon my allies to partake in the feast that will be your spilled energy."

He smiled. "You can avoid all of it though, I f you remove yourself and allow my people to return to my foeld. If you have done them wrong I will return the favour, but If you leave quickyl enough I might forego a chase."

He paused again, awaiting a reply.

"These which you may call your brethren are not much worth to bargain for, they neither live inside mountains, and seek to live in seclusion from all other dwarves.
Your presence may not be welcome here, to them, and me. I have naught wished to harm them, and are prosperous away from your rule. They do not consider themselves 'your' dwarves and will most likely not accept you as their leader; and such may be a fool's errand.

My power base in this land may be weak, but I have little hold over my creations, which are powerful in their own right. They may do as they wish at times, and the safety of your people may not be guaranteed.
I shall contemplate leaving once my business is concluded"

The earth beneath them flickers, then shows the image of Az-Sho's eye.
Udil, I would give you an offer. Always we have been allies since I took you in, and now you stand tall, the slayer of a god.
I formally offer you a place within my Pantheon. If you choose to join, your strength combined with ours will make us stronger by fivefold.
You need not make an answer now, but my offer stands open.

The vision of Az-Sho waits for a response; if none, it flickers out.

"What would you say to meeting the mighty Phoenix of Order and light then? Its enough for me to call to him and say that you are here and he will burn you to cinders in an instant. I can very much strike you down now with my might, if I wish so. If you do not remove yourself now, prepare to be undone."

Az-Sho's eye in the ground focuses on Aldemas.
What is this dispute you have with Udil?

"The Great Pheonix you say? He has no quarrel with me... I've met with him, and he is a peaceful creature.
I have important business here to deal with, and it shall not be disturbed.

As to you, Az-Sho.... Udil is trying to force me away from my powerbase, on terms of immediate evacuation. I have naught done him wrong.

"Your very presence and abuse of my people is doing me wrong! I will not have it any other way than complete unity of all dwarvenkind.

Az-Sho, my great ally - let us complete one act more together and unify the Ninth continet under our absolute control. starting with the God of Darkness."

Traurig once again begins sending out prayers to the gods.

Aldemas and Udil, I have heard of a rivalry between you and although I am relatively new to this world, it is my hope I can in some way help to achieve peace.  If I am to become a lord among the squiddles and achieve freedom for my people, I could take my followers beneath the waves so they do not interfere with the land dwellers or any of the followers of Udil.  Once I have my followers, I can build a city deep underwater in the darkest recesses of the world for Aldemas and his shades to live in peace along with my fellow sea dwellers.  I sincerely hope that my suggestion is agreeable to you both, for I wish not to offend either one of you but instead to achieve peace and possibly even friendship in the most diplomatic of ways possible.

Aldemas, since you have been so kind to me in my time of need, I would like to offer my future services in building you a city deep under the seas, for your shades to live in alongside my fellow ocean dwellers.

The abomination speaks the truth. While I am weary of war and only want Vanida dead, I have seen what you have done to the dwarves of the coast, Aldemas. Accept the spawn's proposal, or Udil and I shall end you.
