Feros spoke now to Udil himself:
'Corvus bids me tell you that he will not return here nor aid those who are not his allies unless your wife repents.'
He then addressed Fatianna:
'I thank you for your aid in sealing the rift. And i have already begun to work on this planet. I will fulfil my own role, and fill this planet with life. It is up to others how they bind this.'
Hearing Volondur speak, he turns back to him:
'I am sorry that I cannot bend to you. I have my own to tend to, although you would not consider them civilized. However, I will join you as an equal if that is what is needed to ensure peace between us.'

"I understand it all. Very well. I shall not force you to do anything and shall not interfere with you, if you desire to remain equals. But make no mistake, I shall not encroach upon your worshippers while you shall stay clear of mine. I will be happy to otherwise lend you help and expect the same of you as equals.

And pass on this message to Corvus - I wish you no ill, but you shall take great care in words you aim at others, for you make little friends with your spite."

He then turned to others.
"If you decide that this is not an offer for you, you are free to leave with my assurance of peace and help in anything you desire to fulfill jointly. but I shall make it clear yet again, that I shall brook no interference in affairs of dwarves or humans, for I consider them my people now. Mortal pantheons by their nature work only with hierarchy, and no pantheon can be achieved otherwise."

I thank you greatly, Corvus, for your offer of Sanctuary here when I asked for it, and I would offer you something in return... an offer I will extend to no other god... and if you take it, I would ask that you never divulge what I had given you."

"I am going to leave this world. It is not a place for me, its people too fractured, broken. When it is whole, I may return, but for now, the Unknown would not be a boon to them. I would ask you to join me when I do, whether simply as neighbors, or as a pantheon of our own upon the world to which we will go."

"Your offer is greatly accepted, if I may assist the Guardians. For they are my allies, and I must help them when I can.

I am tired of this world's gods demanding my help but not respecting me in return. I will still aid the Guardians from afar, mind, but they have simply pushed my patience already.

I do consider one problem though, here we are safe. Elsewhere, Un'Girlan may strike."

"I am with Volondor Vanida said with happiness in her voice "We are not married, yet like The Fool claimed. but I hope that this will soon change. Of cause, If Volondor see myself as a worthy queen for him. And, of cause,  I agree to join the Pantheon. But I have proposals, or rather demands. Rules not for the pantheon, but universal ones for the peace on this planet that all gods living here should follow.

First rule: We do not mate with mortals, neither we change mortals in any other way with our powers. Nor we make new races directly.  That ends badly.

Second rule: That world was created for dwarfs, humans and that third, now extinct beautiful race that I plan to recreate in future, other sentient beings should not live here.  They are usually stronger than natural races, so gods will have to intervene in wars of mortals or see dwarves and humans extinct. If we intervene, then this will lead to another wars between gods

That means they existing divine touched  beings should either die or move to other planets. You all got enough power from the fight to make that happen.

Third rule: We do not fight at the planet. If you badly need to have a duel, choose some other place in the universe, with no mortals around

War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

Weak, so weak...

Hadn't she said she was not going to risk anything this time? The Mad Goddess smiled to herself. So very worth it though, was it not?

She felt the divine essence flowing through her veins, through the physical body that which mortals saw as a god. She would use it soon to aid all mortals...and her Choir too.

But first, the gods required attention.

"I...I shall not be personally attending you in your halls, Udil. My simulacrum, as always, shall go in my stead. I must...rest and recuperate. I am afraid that I...I shall not be speaking with any of you personally for some time. I need to...go."

And with that, the goddess split into two; her wounded and tired godly self, and a seemingly perfect copy lacking any such damage. The true goddess, at this moment, disappeared from the area; to rest and plan.

The simulacrum spoke. "I journey with you, dwarf-king, but remember I am only subservient to you in the matters of the dwarves."

She turned to Vanida. "I must disagree with you; all live should have a chance to live and improve. It is but natural that some die and some survive; it be evolution. To rob them of a chance of improvement is wrong, Lustful One."

She nods, a slight chuckle escaping her. "You may aid them. I simply ask that you do not divulge to where we go, and to aid me in protecting it if the time comes. A pact of mutual protection in isolation."

She approaches him. "In that case, shall we choose a planet together? There are many in the Galaxy, and I would have us decide together."

"Wise words. I accept them and accept your proposal."

He then looked to Vanida.

"Your rules are wise and should be heeded if we are to see mortals prosper. I also shall accept you as my wife."

"I do not break promises, no matter what the spiteful whore says.

Nonetheless, we must consider a planet nearer the Ring. Should Un'Girlan attack, even if we are slain, the Spider shall kill him or call upon everyone to slay him."

Corvus' tone turned dark when he mentioned the "whore". He did not know what to do with such hatred; even Udil and Aodun had only annoyed him.

She nods.

"I agree. The Devourer is a concern, and we should ensure that our planet is close enough to the Ring to be noticed."

His venom toward the Lustful one would not go unnoticed.

"I am not worried of the Dwarf-Lord. He is predictable, and reasonable, to a point. One can at least trust him to act within his own self-interest. Not so with her. She acts out of wild emotion and spite, and controls him as one might a puppet... I am worried that, in time, she will come to wish to attack us, given her hatred of you."

"The Moon would withstand her, and no god would let my potential death go unnoticed. Especially considering that she has done naught to help mortals herself, save offer her body to them, and her grounds for attacking.

The Dwarf-lord...I am familiar with him. Very familiar. Without Volondor, he is nothing but sheer wrath and conquest."

'You would have this planet stagnate Vanida? I cannot allow that. I will agree only to the third, for that is the only piece of wisdom you have spoken. Otherwise, you would bind me also, and a god of the wilds may not be bound so easily. I leave you with my word that I will not break the peace between us. No more, no less....... As for the messages for Corvus, I am no messenger, nor do I speak for him. I cannot reach his stronghold, and so you will have to find other ways to contact him. But I bid you farewell Volundor, and also to you Vanida, although I suspect you now wish me ill. May you prosper as you desire.'

In Anghwair...

The beast continued it's unending scream, the sound echoing across the infinite depths of the prison. A thought rose to the surface. These appendages, sharp though they may be, were not needed.
All that was needed was freedom.

Un'girlan dissasembles the Teeth of the Void to regain 2 Void-Bound Mighty Acts.

His scream continues, unending.

She turns to look out a window, silent for a long time.

"We should leave as soon as it is practical. Do you have the power to relocate your world? If not, I can do so with the energy I gained from the Phoenix's death."

"It is fine, though it means that I shall not be able to do all that I would wish immediately. A shame. It is no great issue, I suppose. In that case, I will ask you this: Should I leave the moon here to prevent the tides from going out of control, and teleport the people and features, or move the moon itself?"
