'Then settle them quickly. the longer we talk, the less time we have to act.'

"Ah, the Scholar himself! Welcome to Despair; I do not believe you have touched it's grounds for quite some time."

After hearing some remarks, Lo continued.

"On no; I just wanted to make sure you would actually come to Despair; no more bad blood between us now."

The goddess made some inappropriate pokes at the Scholar's flesh, making sure it was actually him.

" I cannot call you a coward for now, it seems. I guess there is nothing from preventing a pantheon between us all, then...What shall we call ourselves? The Divine Council for the Restoration of the Planet Despair? Or how bout' just the Council of Despair?" The goddess laughed. She was surely in one of her mad fits at the moment.

"Come on, let us shake on it!" And from her body did extend more arms, to shake hands with each of the gathered deities.

"Stop poking my robes. They are made from the silk of....I don't know, personally. They were formed when I was, and I never took the time to find out."

Corvus croaked slightly, then continued.

"I would have stayed, had it not been for interfering circumstances stemming from lack of worship and later, an debt owed to a greater god than I.

For now, I suggest merely being called the Guardians. The Corvid Moon may be a safe haven for us and for any mortals who need protecting."

The short fit of madness had subsided.

"Forgive me for that. Most inappropriate...regardless, you three may inhabit the moon; I prefer to slay close to my patients. I shall come when need be."

'The Guardians then. It is agreed. i will inform my worshipers of our presence immediately. Although I will stay with them. They are my people after all.'
Feros informs his followers of the guardians, a group of gods devoted to the protection of the planet Despair, and asks them to worship them in addition to himself.

"A little joviality may well be needed in these dark times. I have forgotten the last time I laughed, personally.

Nonetheless, I have my own children, and two Ancients, to tend to, so I will stay with the Crowborn.

Although, it would be possible for me to remotely 'nudge' mortals along the right path with just the right hints of knowledge."

"Well since we are all here, I would like to organise our first goal: restoring this planet. I am currently in negotiations with another deity at the moment, but I believe we can start drawing up plans."

"I plan to restore the plant life to this world in some way...but do you others plan aid of your own?"

"I can offer adding the right "nudges" to mortals, here and there. Not outright improvment, my power is not enough for that, but I can give one or two inspiration. Knowing them, they'll spread the knowledge they gain throughout the population."

'I have granted some small ability to the one called traurig in that respect, but not much. However, I feel the threat itself must be adressed. For this reason I plan to raise a mortal. One who could slay a being who could devour a god. But I have little power to spare, and this would require more than I have.'

"Lo, I would 'shake on it' as you put it if I was not etheral and only able to interact with the physical realm through Acts.  It is both a curse, and a blessing, because I doubt that any physical strikes would harm me.  I do not want to test if that is true, however.  I do agree to the name, and I shall inform the souls of the afterlife realm.  That may prevent any of our deaths by unbelief.

Also, my plan is to instruct the species that I created, which can be born to any race upon this planet and maintains knowledge of up to its previous four lives, to assist in the restoration of the world.
"

When the meeting is over, return to the realm of the Afterlife and inform those within, as well as the new species, of the pantheon, asking for worship of them in addition to Kar'lan.

"The Crowborn need to be taught about other gods, and so I will inform them."

When the meeting is over, return to Ravenas and encourage worship of the Guardians, in addition to Corvus and Aur-Sha. Remind the Crowborn that their main god is still Corvus, in order to keep the majority in the Scholar's Cult, with a significant minority worshipping the Guardians and The Serpent's Daughter.

'Indeed we have. But although he could be an asset to us and the world, we have both seen the threat an ascendant poses. It is to this end I propose to raise a being of the North, by means of a challenge. Not forced upon them, but undertaken willingly. By this way, only the strongest and most loyal would succeed.'

"If I find one of my creations within that race, it would be optimal, due to the retaining of knowledge and reincarnation preventing us from having to train a new one from scratch each time."

"Either that, or one of the Crowborn. The intelligence of one of them might be beneficial to survival."
