Ironfell: Interesting?
« on: January 18, 2013, 10:41:06 pm »

Well, I found this on Rock-Paper-Shotgun: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/01/17/ironfell-is-the-cutest-most-unfair-mmo-of-today/

As far as I can tell, it seems to be part mmorts, part EVE online-style, and part explorer according to some of the comments. The title basically sums it up: Is it interesting, or terrible? Or both?

The site has a beginners guide as well, from my look around.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I've been playing it since I saw http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=121758 - which has slipped to page 4 by now.

It is interesting. You may be able to buy resources, but you can't buy knowledge, strategic planning, or the ability to think tactically and problem-solve.
