You both may deny it, but they are still dwarves at heart, as they were made from dwarves and retain dwarven minds and souls. Don't deny them their dwarvenhood due to scales and such.
And I'm kinda the creator of dwarven civilization; even if you deny direct influence, I did kinda grant you the ability to come into play.

Name: Jim (If possible)

Bio: A man without any memory, to him his past is a vague haze of confused emotion and no one seems to know much about Jim.  The only think he is sure of about himself is his strong sense of having lost much in the past and an unrelenting hunger to gain power and immortality to make up for what he feels he feels has been taken from him.  He is not a man who goes out of his way to be either kind or cruel for all that concerns him are his goals, his desires and what must be done to obtain them.

Appearance: A tall man with a medium sort of lean build.  He is white skinned, almost pale with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.  He is constantly staring off at seemingly nothing as if in a trance but when something or someone gets his attention he locks his gaze on the person or object with an almost predatory gaze.

Description: A god born from the pride and ambitious desires of people all around the world.  He is a god much interested in the wars of conquest and struggles of power that occur in life.  Jim is constantly trying to spread his influence and raise empires and armies.  He is always looking for power hungry individuals whom he allows to enter into pacts with him by offering their life and allegiance to his service in return for power both direct and abstract.

Appearance: Same as the other Jim I mentioned except he usually wears a mask that conceals his facial features.

Might I remind you who brought the dwarves together in the woods, made you their leader, you ungrateful crippled alcoholic little beardling? Without me, you'd be nothing. Besides which, beforehand there was no motivation for anything. Now, with a hefty kick in the correct direction from me, your race has prospered and is one of the mightiest in the world.
