My plan:

Us: Say that we will give him the money, take the money out of our pockets and walk towards him, make sure that he sees that we aren't holding any weapons. When he lowers his guard, slash his throat.
Mage: target the one with the flasks, trying to brak them (we don't know what is inside, so I would put him as our bifggest threat)
The chosen one: do whatever rogues do to get close to their targets and hit the elf.

What is it with the leaders of groups hostile towards us being tall and weilding hammers? I agree with the above plan, because it is both devious and effective.

I should hope that Wander will follow their own natural curiosity about how flammable those flasks are...

What tom said but see if you can keep the leader alive so we can interrogate him...it might be our enemies or something PLUS if he isn't anything special decapitate him and leave the parts on the side of the road.

I don't think that he is more than a bandit

And let's ask if we can mutilate him. The hero may have a problem with it. Or maybe it the leader if he would be okay with that. Rogues usually don't care about small things like that.

Alright then, large and angry hammerwielder. We'll give you your money. Allow me to collect it from the others.
Your party huddles up, switching money around, while making up the plan. You considered using mind's whisper to tell them quietly, but the shock of hearing something in their head could mess things up.
When you have gathered up the money of the entire party, and walk up to their leader. Unarmed, and quite dangerous.

The leader lowers his guard, and stretches his hand out to accept the money. You immeadiatly capitalize upon his carelessness, and ram your claws in his belly.(roll=11 +5 sneak attack=16)
He yells in pain as your poison enters his body. The next yell comes from the elf, who barely manages to block Seum's sword with his bow.(Seum's roll= 2 +5 Sneak attack) Wander throws a fireball at the orc, who just seems kind of worried but not much else. (Wander's Roll= 8 )
The leader is still distracted by the pain, so you attempt to slash his throat. Sadly, you miss and hit his upper torso instead. Seum is more succesfull, as he has just disarmed the elf of the dagger he attempted to pull out. (his roll= 17) (disarming strike!)
The orc, being unfased, quickly throws a bottle with what must be healing potion on the leader.  Or, that's what you figured, as the leader is instead covered in a sticky oil.(orc's roll= 1) The orc shouts an apology, while Wander throws some fire on the leader.
He hits the leader's leg, only causing a small flame, which is quickly doused..

By now, the leader finally gets around to striking, and he hits you on the torso, causing you to fly back a little bit.(His roll= 14)
Seum, meanwhile, has killed the elf in three quick slashes from his sword, giving him free reign on what to attack next.(good rolls allround) He chooses the large, angry man with the hammer, and is promptly hit by said hammer.(Seum's roll= 1)
Wander has missed completely with his attack, and the orc throws a small flask at Wander's feet, which promptly explodes in a bright flash, blinding Wander.
You give a vicious attack, hitting the leader's neck,(roll=19) while wander attempts to stab him. Sadly, that attack is deflected by a metal shoulderguard. (Seum roll= 5+2 backstab bonus)

The orc readies a flask to throw at the leader, but Seum ,fortunately, notices it and swats it out of his hands. The leader, meanwhile, falls on his knee, shaking. The poison must have kicked in.
You divert your attention to the orc as well. The orc throws a flask of oil on Seum, and quickly follows up on it by throwing some sort of flame from his wrist. Seum is currently on fire, and is attempting to remove his burning clothing. The orc laughs in triumph, and readies another flask. You get ready to prevent him, but just barely avoid Wanders fireball, which his one of the orc's flasks.
The orc promtly seems to explode. By the time the smoke has cleared he is screaming, rolling on the ground to douse the flames.
You get ready to finish him off, untill his screams of pain turn into a berzerker's yell. He grabs you by the shoulder, screaming, before you kick his flaming husk of a body away. That was the finisher, and the orc falls down, dead.

The leader is still alive, albeit barely. He seems to be choking and is foaming at the mouth.
I can drain his life and give it to someone. But I can only heal one person with how much he has left.
Who gets the life and what will you do after that?
The loot seems to be: A shortbow, a maul, oil-covered reinforced leather armor, slightly melted flame mekanism, light leather armor

Also, I finally got around to putting up that drawing I requested from a friend. This is his interpertation of how he looks, of course. It's also how "Sweet protective clothing" looks like.

Seum, I guess. Being set on fire is generally bad for heroes, and we probably need him alive if we don't want to kaput.

Heal Wander...

Why is "trickling remains of bandit's life" not listed amongst the loot? And can we channel it into an object instead?

Remove gore from paw. No need to be a messy eater...

Any chance we could catch their soul before it escapes? spiritual battles are quick, right?

He's also the only one listed as "Injured".

He just needs to level up some. If we grind XP here we can get him up to snuff.

Put it in Seum, but before you do, wait a moment.
You enter the dying bandits mindscape. It honestly looks like shit in here, just a large-ass desert.
You find the bandit on his knees, shaking. You just ram your claws through him, and enter his soulscape.
It looks like a cathedral here. Albeit a broken down one. The soul of bandit isn't quite as weak as the mind, however, as proven when he appears with a glowy-ass sword. He just HAD to follow the cliches, didn't he?

Sadly, he proves to have the edge here, as he charges forward, his wild slashes cutting deep(19). You counterattack isn't nearly as effective, as you just mildly injure his arm(15 -1 soulscape=14).
He then bashes you on the head with the blade pommel, and stabs your eye out(20). This would be very dangerous, were it not for the fact that this is a soulbattle. The bandit stops fighting for a few seconds so he can taunt you, clearly getting cocky. A quick stab to his left arm stops that(10), and he counters by kicking you away.(13)
You are getting soundly beaten here, so you shift over to your snake-form to hide among the benches. (yes, the cathedral has furniture and everything)
He loses sight of you, allowing you to bite him in his sword arm. He proceeds to drop the sword in pain and throws you off. The landing was not soft.
He then stomps on your body, snapping you in half.

You blink a few times in the real world again, having a slight headache. You are most certainly not trying that again soon.
Alright, kill the dumbass.
Wander proceeds to drain everything left inside the bandit, and gives it to Seum. You rip the Leader's bloody head off, and kick it into the forest.
Lousy gods-damned souls.
Seum has collected all the loot in a blink of an eye, so at least you can give him that.
