You go for the local tavern, surely full of drunks, shady businesses and dozens of budding adventurer parties. You have no idea how it is even possible for a basic tavern to have a dozen dark corners.
Along the way, the evening turns into night. You feel a bit more at ease, and seeing how there aren't one-hundred ears around to hear it, you ask you high priest some things.
Basic back-story. She was kidnapped and, due to her grasp on the manipulation of the arcane, was trained up as a shaman. The first spell they taught her was a shape-shift into a weaker goblin form. They assumed she couldn't figure out the counter-spell.
They were right, but captured magi often gave her some basic tips and lessons in return for some food or escapes. She became one of the higher-ranking war-shamans due to an unfortunate accident involving some oil and fire.
From there, she got sent along with a budding war hero and ended up in the dungeon. Her skills include basic healing, enhancing strength and some basic destruction magic.
She's been into worshiping most gods, but was most interested in Carnifex, as he is basically the cook and janitor of the gods.
By extension, he knows the most secrets and he is one of the more powerful gods. Basic sin is easy to come by.
You enter the tavern and see a brawl is already under way. You float on over to the bar, going through a multitude of people, while your priestess walks over there, punching people away if they get in the way.
Now that you're there you see the reason for the brawl. In the middle of the carnage is an orc that does follow the stereotype.
There's enough going on, and your priestess is just waiting by the bar and has already ordered a drink.
The orc is impressive, fighting 3 people at the same time while drunk and still winning is always impressive.
