You send out your cultists to terrorize a farm for either "donations" or just eat them. Despite the fact that you don't eat people, you poison them.

Initiation rituals are not something Put thought of when creating you, but he was willing to look into it for you. The "cruel act for rank" is not something he likes, as the god of rage will get uppity over the plagiarism.
He also thinks it's a bit dumb, seeing how it would be preferable not to have complete nut-jobs in command over non-crazy people. So he's prefer something else.
He is capable of turning the higher-in-commands into demons. But you will need a lot of followers first.
After night has fallen, you head back into the town and gather up more cultists.
The search goes reasonable, your sweet talker and your magnificent "Evil Morgan Freeman" voice go a long way. You gain 12 followers. (roll=11 +2 compelling voice +2 good talker)
The one guy that wished to report to the guard was quickly taken care of. that pushes you over the threshold for a level up!

Abilities
Dark presence: casting this curse over someone will cause any and all things that detect evil to go off on the victim. They may also take to darker paths. Rolling a 20 will gives the target a strength bonus and gives you the ability to jump into them at any time. It also removes the "may" from the sentence directly above this one.
Mark of Carnifex: Allows you to officially convert a person, giving them higher pain resistance and giving them a mark.
Rot Missile: fires off a blast of magic that causes appropriate magic. In your case, rot.
Heal and Harm: Gives you the ability to heal people who either follow you or are on the evil side of the alignments. Harms anyone who does not fit these parameters.
Almost solid form: Allows you to turn yourself into an illusion. You can pick your solid form if you take this ability. Note that this form cannot interact with anything.
It takes a lot of power to change your solid form, so choose wisely. I decided not to give you your snake form because it would look sort of silly. However, if you prefer the snake form you can keep it.
Perks
Devourer: Gives you the ability to feed off of dead corpses for a minor heal and energy boost when in a host body
Mental poison: Makes your poison inflict mental damage, and causes fear. This carries over to your solid form.
Empowering Presence: your followers gain a minor bonus to their willpower, and in some cases, gain some strength.
Necrotic air: Gives you the ability to slowly rot anything you touch. This can be turned off. This also carries over to your solid form's poison.
