I think that it was made clear that the other entity was physically reduced to its component parts, which in turn were fictionally(Huh... Spell checker has non-fictionally but not fictionally...) reduced to their component parts, which were then deleted. So I suspect that we missed our chance at a nemesis this time... We should build above-ground farms for deathrot, then trade the deathrot for food.

P.S.
Gloob is obviouslly the only female goblin present. Knowing our tendency to latch onto every meaningless and forgettable detail we can find, the G.M. has invariably built up a back-story, list of character traits, several verbal quirks, and an exhaustive list of physical traits. So lets skip this named character and obsess over the next one...

I'm pretty sure he said the entity died so badly we couldn't steal it's energy, lets obsess over Gloob since why waste a perfectly good backstory that the GM made (if he made one, if not then scratch obsessing over Gloob). Lets make several chambers in the tunnels for guard chambers, about four along each main path, and at least one on each minor path, we need to plan ahead so we can't be screwed over by a stealth raid.

That last idea is good.

Also if I didn't say ask about the entity, I'm saying it now. Ask about the entity.

First off, I'd like to ask to you what the entity was.
Let's be honest here, an entity possesses a goblin chief all the time. We're an attractive target! We listen to the chief, even when he is possessed. It's considered to be a point of weakness to not have a possessed leader.
That seems strange, and more then a little bit stupid.
Based off the fact that even entities don't consider you strong enough. Make no mistake, getting possessed is a mark of shame on the individual goblin. We will not remember the former chief by morning.
Interesting. By the way, who's "Gloob"?
A minion.
I got that, but why was he excepted from your speech.
Nono, he is literally a minion. That's the name of the species.
You give a confused look, which is to say, you lift an eyebrow. You don't enjoy having to be lectured by a mortal.

Minions are beings that are slightly smaller then goblins but paradoxically stronger. They are fiercely loyal to their Dominator, though most prefer to call themselves lords of some title.
There hasn't been a Dominator for a few generations. Before you get any ideas they are born, not made.
Gloob got here after the last Dominator got destroyed by a friendly necromancer. (Necromancy is not limited to evil people. It's a bit macabre, sure, but not evil.)
Most minions died in his defense, and Gloob might just be one of the last minions. Minions live long lives, too. Provided they don't end up killed, which happens a lot.

About your orders to the tribe is followed, and will be done in about a month or two.
That gives you a month to actually give them death-rot. By then it's deathrot season. Though Deathrot is a hardy and persistent plant, it still needs to get a start in the season. After that it keeps growing.
Your journey back to the tower goes with ease. Though your body fails about half-way. Your cultists carry him back as you just float along with them.
He's still alive when you get back and your priestess will heal him, though the process takes day or two.

The alchemist refused to give his soul.
You settled for his pain.

Did we at least offer to teach the alchemist magic? People aren't just going to give us their souls. I suppose goblins might, if we are strong enough...

Eh. It got us close to another level of strength. Plus I bet there's plenty of alchemists willing to serve Put.

I think we just tortured him.  He probably isn't dead yet.

Also, guise. We have hammer space. HAMMER SPACE.

We can now initiate attacks without revealing our weapon. Which is to say, badass.

WAIT A MINUTE! Is the alchemist dead??? Who is going to process all the deathrot now??? Nooo, my dreams of drug dealing have banished...

Either way, the next part of our world domination plan should be investigating about illegal operations in the zone, and look for jobs to gain fame with our host, then we can use both the fame AND the deathrot to infiltrate more powerful entities. There should be a whole lot of foul people and the like in important positions.

Short term goal: control the local mob.
Mid term goal: control the local goverment.
Long term goal: expand the religion to the whole kingdom.

Well, a bigger city could be a better base of operations.

On the most inmediate stuff, we should find an ignored, but important guy and control him to bring chaos (like, a secretary in charge of managing some important guy's agenda)
Other idea: free the brawler orc from jail. We will need generals, and he could be a really good one.

Processing deathrot isn't complicated. Just plant it in the ground and it'll gather up it's own nutrients from careless small critters and itself.
Also, you can't teach magic. While you know "pure" magic, and you can tell it to people, you can't teach it to someone. Besides, it has to be born.
Currently, there's no real way to know if somebody is going to be a mage or not. Two demi-gods in regards to their power will probably still give birth to a simple child.
The parents usually bear no ill will against their child for it. However, there IS a lot of attention to magi. The local churches and other private parts will often take the child away from their home to keep them safe and teach them properly.
The privileges to see their family differs from place to place.

Also, going back to your current plan. You decide to try and get two birds with one stone. You want to go after the guard general.
A brilliant strategist, and a very pleasant man to train with, he is very popular. He should be perfect.
However, you have no plan for it. How are you going to do this? Also of note, the alchemist is currently unconscious. You know how torture him very efficiently, using your slow poison and your voice.
There's a city that's bigger nearby, but they have HEAVY checks against demons. The Cathedral is a nasty place for your kind.
So if you go there, have a plan ready.

Let's go terrorise a farm. maybe eat them and take their crops, or maybe just extort them to make regular crop donations...

Meh, not us personally.  Send in some goblins or cultists to do it later.  Speaking of, I think we need to recruit more.  If we can't summon demons, I at least want more freakishly mutated cultists!  Have our two buddies from before come with us.  Walk among the slum populations and recruit more guys down on their luck.  We also need initiation rituals I think.  To get in to our cult, the person needs to commit an act of cruelty.  The more cruel the act, the higher their initial position in the cult will be.  As people progress through the cult, we should alter their bodies further until they look like complete monsters and are really tough.

Also, plant that deathrot and go find a way to order regular food shipments for our tower.  If necessary we can start selling stuff for the first shipment but hopefully by the second shipment we'll have a regular income.

After we get more followers we can look around for information about the guard captain.  We could probably look up his schedule and barring that, just kidnap some random guard and interrogate him/her for the info.
