I never supported going to the camp armed with only a dagger and without armor. I would just leave, but, if the rest of the players don't want to do so, I say that we shoul try things in this order:
-An illusion to scare them or at least distract them.
-Using our voice powers to convince that we are alllies or something like that.
-If we get killed, try to posess the goblin chief.

I thought we were going to buy equipment too but we're here now, so we might as well just get things done.  How about we leave our host for now and go talk to the goblin chief in our entity form.

Edit: Kittensnot, if the soul of a host isn't destroyed would their mind heal eventually?

On an extra  side-note, the goblin war-chief is still alive at two hp or so. As you broke his mind, He won't be doing much of anything. The damage done to him does not help either.

A quick explanation on some things: First off, yes. A mind can be healed or heal over time. There are spells that can set a mind in the right order again, but they are only performed by very experienced wizards, usually.
The mind is similar to a planet in this universe. The insides and everything that does something is immeasurably complex, but all you need is a large enough bomb to destroy it all. With all this magic floating around, fixing a planet would take some doing, but it's very much possible. It can also heal on it's own, but it will take a very long time if nothing is around to help. In a lot of cases it takes longer then the life-span of the afflicted person. Insanity always gets boring after a few centuries.

A soul cannot be repaired. Explaining a soul can't be done in words. With words, all you can do is scratch the surface of the most general explanation of a soul, and only the most powerful entities know what a soul truly is. It is not pretty, lets keep it at that.

Also, related to the equipment, I didn't have your Entity buy stuff, as nobody had anything in the way of money. You have beggars as cultists, and an average goblin shaman only has so much gold on her. Mongoose isn't dumb enough to walk through dangerous alleyways with a bulging bag of cash.
And you didn't give me a plan on how to acquire money.

Yes to the last option. We can use Mongoose again if we want, as his mind will take time to heal.

One more question for Kittensnot: Say we possess one of our followers and they give in freely, could we take them over without damaging their mind, so when we leave they would have control of their body again?

Also what happens if we destroy someone's soul but not their mind?

It's freaking hilarious, but you have better things to murder.
In your gas form, getting through the wall was easy. Then, while you go to the chief, you find a whole heaping load of shamans around him.
So Shamans are used as advisors, and to prevent possessions. Your priestess was a big exception, so don't expect them to accept the fact that an entity is possessing the chief.
Shamans that are with war parties get a bit more desperate in general.

You manage to remain unseen (roll = 17), and you are in spitting distance from the chief, who is talking to his shamans.
They seem to be talking about what happened to the goblin raid that you ruined, and the fact that the shaman's corpse wasn't found.
