hmm. should find a circular reagent and put it in skill tree with summon skelengtons, so we can summon wheel skelengtons, the most OP unit ever.

I forget what sort of skill we tried shoving into the skill tree, but a quick search should remedy that.
But I thought it was Grass Knot?

Searching...

Warrens is SO FULL of amazing things.

FOUND IT:
Also:Reading through the updates, we can see that the skill tree can upgrade abilities; place acid and Growth into Tree

((Actually, no, we were never shown that it could upgrade abilities. In fact, we never even successfully used it before losing it.))

Growth doesn't seem to fit inside the Skill Tree menu.

...the hell is Growth?

Growth: Crafted in Skill Tree (50 Time) using 2 Energy Weeds [T1 Grass/Power]
Appears to create useless patches of plant life
Oh. I thought that was Grass Knot.

...the hell was Grass Knot?

Grass Knot: Learned from eating a disc found in a slime on DL2, presumed lost during Riltia's death
Damaged and entangled foes with (persistent?) vines
Holy shit I love having an Armory.

Other things that will not work in the Skill Tree:
Spoiler: Asynchrony Catalyst (click to show/hide)

So... uh...

Most regrettably, neither have the Natural Reagent option in their menu and are rejected by the skill tree.
Hmm. Sounds like we know what makes a thing fit in the skill tree?

Wait—I may be totally wrong, but I vaguely remember hearing about different levels of Skill Trees. It might have been a tip, maybe?

If I'm right—and I'm increasingly sure I'm not—it seems likely that a higher-level Skill Tree is required to upgrade abilities.

-1 to trying to recruit Circuitrix. She probably won't be willing to risk oblivion so directly—and really, it's more of a guarantee; she'd likely get OHKO'd the next time we met Oric.

~~fancy colorful not Ciro-thought marker~~
Ciro, I'm curious... if we do this sort of nonsense, is there any way you can tell us apart? I was once some sort of individual once, before I fell in and got Illborn'd, and I'd like to see if I can discern myself from the Masse of Spirites Everywhere in any way.

Ciro, what happens when we all shout down and -1 a suggestion that you reeeeally want to do?

And on a more serious note

Try to put the skill tree in the skill tree

And on a COMPLETELY serious note

Circiutrix wasn't rhyming after she took down her hood! Just before! Why is she hiding her words from Her? You demand answers!

This sounds vaguely familiar to me as well.

Looking at some Armoury stuff, there have been mentions of other tree types—a World Tree and Money Tree. There might be an Upgrade Tree, too.

We should ask what the deal with the Last Seraphim is if the chance arises. We definitely shouldn't be nasty about it.

Welcome back home, FFS! Not going back to ensure the safety, palatability and good curvature of next year's crop of turnips? By the way, I, errr, hope that wasn't your official monk garb.

Well, as for the characters, it looks like we found a cutie-trix!

I'll have to read everything later as I'm very busy with my super-serious indie game development project, but I'm sure I'll have a ton of suggestions. Or at least, I'm sure you guys will have concocted a swathe of suicidally dangerous suggestions for me to downvote.

Now, as far as concerns our little side-quest, I still really like the idea of luring a Sibling or other powerful human adversary to the room (this is an ancient and unspeakably powerful treasure, is it not? surely they'd take the bait) so that after the two of them have fought we can finish off the victor. I'm not particularly beholden to collecting that treasure though and like everyone I just want to encourage the game to get going again at a good pace. So we shall see what works best.
