I was more expecting an intro to an epic final battle, and was slightly confused by how happy it was.

probably the happy bit is ciro and riltia having a happy ending, and the crashing sound is us assuming direct control over ciro. the final laugh is the collective laughing though ciro's lungs at the new age of emptiness we will bring upon an unsuspecting world.

Oric wants the target dead because the Target is Oversoul and the Oversoul is seeked out by people all over the world and also the oversoul is the last seraphim so oric wants to kill the last seraphim because its the oversoul and he wants to kill all angels, ? the angel is also riltia in secret and was the one behind the angel statue so riltia wanted to kill herself because shes a free soul and a traitor to the party we can kill her instantly by abusing soul stars combinatorial, going back to oric he cannot kill the oversoul aka the last seraphim because ciro is human and not in angel form so his holy damage sucks against him so but then ciro also has holy damage so ciro aka the target aka the oversoul aka alfred lichtenstein can kill themselves thus ending all the cycles and giving oric oversoul escaping the prison and killing the immortal king of haria.

Also, sell Icy shaft. It's worthless now, as we won't be meeting elec enemies anymore and does less damage than a punch.

Oric wants the Target dead so he can steal Ciro's Soulpower to power his Soulstar. Since he is the Thief, he cannot power his own soulstar. He must take it instead from Ciro, as both his and Ciro's Soulstar run on the same Almighty/Awesome/Holy element.. So, he deliberately sets up Ciro to struggle against the Cycle and steals the resulting charge for his own power.

we should get a shitton of bricks, make a really big shieldwall, and use that to bridge over the enemies so they cannot see us and get aggro

alternatives: dome them in, crush them between brickshield and brickwall, get al to try and thrall one of them
