Didn't that say "below DL2?" because we're not on a DL right now.
Aren't we below all DLs?

Physically, the Underside is below DL2—we fell through a trapdoor to get here, remember?

So it all depends on some technical bits...
if the side quest exists, though, it would be good to sign up for it.

You know what? Switch to Al using the Influx. Then sign up for the side quest and come back to the party.

-1. Who knows what the party would do in our absence?

Hey, I wonder if we overloaded one of Proxxy's visors we could get though this?

Common sense- just wait for Al to get back. Then we can take it.
Can we, though? Let's see your math.

Actually I should probably make useless charts of our characters' damage outputs and survival times versus various damage outputs. That sounds like a thing I'd do.

That would actually be an amazing thing to do, because I suspect we can't actually match this boss for DPS.

So Oric's soul star has the power to control what theorycrafting gets confirmed?
Wait, what if... Oric's Hammer is the power of theorycraft?
QUICK FLOOD THE STAR WITH NONSENSE THEORIES

ciro is in a coma while in purgatory

ciro x riltia is a retelling of romeo and juliet

oric is secretly the last seraphim who is also secretly ciro and they are all secretly the holy trinit

I started trying but HOLY SHIT SO MANY MENUS. Look at all the things I found trying to find Bloody Harry's stats:

(Bloodshape: 10+2 BLOOD) You make the Hemiglo-bore. It costs 5MHP (even though the illustration says MSP)! That's pretty pricey for what it does. What does it do, anyway? You hand the Cheery Tree Leaves to Slog for the moment.

(Knowledge: 14) Goom-bess has you covered.

Slog eats the Mushroom and morphs into NOT HUNGRY SLOG. The form will last for FOUR turns. His new form has the following abilities:

Spoiler: Not Hungry Slog skills (click to show/hide)

(Bloodshape: 11+2 BLOOD) At the cost of most of your MHP and MSP, you create Heartbreak, the ultimate Bloodshape weapon.
I still do not have Bloody Harry's stats.

The upside of course is that we have way more tools to work with than I thought.

These are all amazing.

Hm. I don't even remember when we bloodshaped Bloody Harry for the first time. Shit. Somebody else remember for me so I can note it in the navigation.

The journey continues:

"Broken cycle" is apparently a method. That implies that we may have been thinking about "cycles" in the wrong way; rather than being akin to days or some other unit of start-stop time, they might refer to Ciro's progress specifically as a functional method. "Broken cycle" would then be closer to "car's off the track" than anything more dramatic or innate.

The question then becomes just what broke the cycle; supposedly the problem is that Riltia was destroyed, but that only caused massive damage because some creepy silhouettes revived her. Questions questions.

I'm also curious just how irrepairable unrepairable is.

Noting Soul Star appearances is a nice touch, but I was saddened and dismayed to find that it did not apply to any other items. Maybe I should start trying to compile an armory.

Right here.

Thanks! Out of curiosity, how'd you find it?
