I'm glad so many are siding with me on the thwack-to-the-face-strategy side, but... am I the only one who thinks there's mileage in retreating a little bit, after the attack?

6HP is pretty much the danger zone for a 1-hit kill.

EDIT: Realized I forgot to clarify this, but I think feeding her the Solace would have interesting effects, I just don't see the attempt succeeding.

Honestly, my immediate thought on hearing that drinking the water would be bad wasn't so much that we'd get hurt, but more like how Riltia went Illborn, just as an example; definitely interesting, but being in the immediate vicinity may have deleterious effects on one's health.  We know it would be bad for us, but conversely, we don't know that doing this to a hostile enemy would be good for us, especially since just getting set up for it seems to be getting us hurt a bit more. 

On the other hand, it might be solace in the same manner the misericorde is an act of mercy...
