What if we (ciro) jumped off with the magnet heel instead?  I doubt Oric would expect that.

This has my plus ones. It shows Oric that he's not the boss of us, we avoid getting Rilitia killed, and we get to possibly get some info on why Oric wants to keep us alive. It's PERFECT. Oric may have abilities to kill us... But he won't have abilities to save us. Bosses just don't do that. It's perfect!!!

That's actually not a bad idea, now that I think about it... We'll see how much he actually cares about us, and how important we are. Plus, it also stalls for time in the worst case scenario. Best case scenario, he's too freaked out to bother fucking with us.
