Yeah, you have to consider that this is his dungeon. Even if it is randomly generated, every item added to it isn't a foreign element. It's just another thing he's probably made himself. Even if he didn't originally own the dungeon, he still controls what comes in and what comes out. If there's a way to cheat the system, it's pretty definite that he wouldn't allow us to have it or at least would try to gimp it.

And the alternative is?

I mean, this is a win-win situation.

If it succeeds, we keep Riltia and satisfy Oric.

If it fails, Riltia falls to her doom knowing that we intended to save her, so there'll be no hard feelings.

Well. That went worse then I'd expected.

Also, this seems to mean Oric doesn't like the Siblings working together. He confiscated Proxxy RIGHT AFTER she briefly joined our party and now he's trying to separate us from Riltia. Plus he killed Kit first, which might suggest he felt threatened by the copying ability Kit had.

As a long term plan, once this thing is resolved, we really need to look into some way of making sure Oric can't just waltz in and do this sort of thing. Possibly by seeking protection from the Last Seraph or Newford.

We tried defiance. He murdered Kit. From his perspective, there is absolutely NO REASON that he can't just kill us all[And possibly the other Siblings too?] here and now and restart the Cycle fresh. And there's probably not much we can do about it. Unless...

Genetic Recess? Something that costs that much SP had better be good. I believe someone suggested Bloodshaping a melee[Thus using MHP] Wizard's Staff that raised SP like the Wizard Hat did to be able to cast it.

EDIT: Wait, IS there some reason he can't just kill us all? If so, +1 to the whole "Grab Goom-Bess with the Illborn Exchange and then defy him" idea. Otherwise...
