Something's fishy about this. If he wants Riltia dead, why not do it himself? What's so urgent? Why specifically shoving her off the skyship? Does "kill you all where you stand" include Riltia?

Also, we should hold off on trying to deceive him at this point. He probably knows ALL the tricks.

Oh yeah, and copying Oric is an obvious trap.
We're not deceiving him. We're doing exactly what he asked us to do.

Hold on. Could this have something to do with that statue?

Maybe he can't kill Riltia, because it would cause her to turn into a monster?

Maybe he wants her to kill us after she turns into a monster?

Or maybe he wants to cause emotional trauma?

Also, to everyone who voted for Oric to go find us, this is probably your fault.

Well, see, from what we've seen of him I get the feeling he's the Lawful Evil Live-by-the-word-not-by-the-spirit type. I might be wrong here, but I get the feeling he's going to not outright murder us if we point out we technically did what he said, if only because we're amusing.

Well, that or I'm entirely wrong and we get horribly murdered thanks to me, but c'est la vie.

Take Riltia and slip her the Magnet Heel secretly. Tell her to use it and push her off so she sticks to the side of the ship.

Twoota tip #60: You will all die to a Sibling's hands. ~Oric

Sibling.

Oric is not a Sibling. For some reason, he doesn't want to kill us himself. This fits with the odd Let's You and Him Fight thing we've got going on here.

Simplest solution, we tell Oric where he can shove his Soul Star and see what happens.

Alternate solution (as I do think we'll be unable to trick him with ropes or magnet boots or windirection or etc, so -1 deception) would be to give Al the ring of Sexy and have him equip the Bartering Ram and attempt to negotiate with Oric (maybe talk him down to just maiming Riltia a little.) I think I'd rather just openly defy Oric at this point, though, since evidently ruining our relationship with Riltia is more important to him than us being dead.

DAMMIT I VOTED FOR PROLETARIAT REVOLUTION

Though perhaps we can appease Oric with the banner we've got.

Have Riltia stand on our hands, continuously push her into the air.

He said off, not over.

(Edit: Rolled a 1d20 acrobatics check, got a 20.)

All part of a plot to bring about a communist Warrens.

lel edit

Change Goom-Bess from active to passive and Copycat to active, so it'll actually obey us when we say to copy Oric.

Hmm... Would SLOGDOKEN work with Copy-Cat, and then he turns into an Oric half-way there?

Also greet Riltia.

Bloodsape rope. Tie rope to Riltia. Hold rope. Push Riltia off the ship.
Follow Oric's orders and still keep Riltia alive.

Take Riltia and slip her the Magnet Heel secretly. Tell her to use it and push her off so she sticks to the side of the ship.

+1 to do both. At the same time.

I think I'd rather just openly defy Oric at this point, though, since evidently ruining our relationship with Riltia is more important to him than us being dead.
If a non-illborn kills another non-illborn; they get Soul Charge. The Siblings are batteries. Riltia is a Sibling, Target is a sibling. We are, therefore, transferring charge into a single battery by killing Riltia.
And the inevitable death of Target ends the cycle. Emotions also cause  Soul Charge gain. So either way, Ciro freaking out about this is what Oric wants, and no matter the outcome, he gets what he wants.

Saving Riltia via items likely wouldn't work, because Oric would probably be able to tell if she died or not.

He also, is not likely to prematurely end the cycle; but if he sees that we genuinely care about Riltia, he might deem that potential abnormality as a threat to the Cycles, and kill us. SOOOOOOOOOOO:
Refuse killing Riltia, make up the excuse of her gear and inventory space being essential to the party.
After Oric leaves, if he does, tell Riltia that you made up that excuse and that you are sorry for saying such things.
