Check out the underside, see how goombella's doing, then check out the greens.

Also we're probably interested in the greens due to the whole [HELLO] thing attached to it. Kinda jumps out as being something.

To the Underside!  As well as checking on Goombess and seeing the new mercs available, I think we should try and locate Chief again.  He seems to be of some relation to Cain, and knows a lot more than he lets on.  Plus Al wants to find him, and getting on Al's good side may get him to start answering some questions.

No, because jumping is the only repeated-use way out of there.  We can get in free, but we can't get out without using up that checkpoint.

Now it's come to it I'm not actually sure about heading off to DL2. Partly because it'd just be a bit impolite to bail on Ripriver now. He'd also probably get himself killed challenging Ecco to a duel or something. Nothing wrong with a quick trip to the Underside to replenish and pick up Goombess (and her newly-crafted items) though.
Head to the Underside. Inform Ripriver that we'll be back in a minute or two, though.
