This mage is essentially unarmed because he's stuck in an antimagic level.

But recruiting him miiiight be possible and rewarding assuming that he doesn't cease to exist the moment he steps outside the level.

I doubt it. Besides, he's somehow increasing his MAGIC stat. If he gets it high enough, he might be able to overcome the anti magic and actually magic us. That would be bad. I say we murder him now.

Scion breaks a chunk of himself, which gives powers. Therefore powers are Scion. Therefore Eidolon was killed by his powers.

But as One Entity(and it's counterpart) existed, Scion is mostly likely from the same group as the Dead Entity.Therefore, Dead Entity is Scion(more or less).

If Eidolon's entity had the directive of Absorb, wouldn't he possibly have the power to reach into Scion's LifeForce, and steal power from him? Too bad he didn't...

Hm. Could Eidolon have done that Shard-absorbing trick on Scion? I doubt it, but if so...that fight would have been MUCH more one-sided.


...On a completely different note, what are your feelings of having Glaistig dig up and kill Cherish, then get killed by Contessa, then get unleashed on Scion?

Until GWG pointed out the update title, I had only ever seen the "FFS lies in another update" one. In all the updates the title was in. ALL OF THEM.
When I saw it in the quote, I caught on, though, as it said "Press F5 for another update".

...that may not be exactly what it says, but close enough, you know which ones I mean.
Hmm, there's a Sonic reference in one of them, one that mentions theorycrafting, I don't understand why the "UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE" one shows up so often whenever I refresh... cool, though, we found another rotating image.

Scion can absorb things too! How else would he propagate his species on other planets? 1v1 Absorbtion match between 10000's of years and 100 or so!

But Contessa can't precog against Scion....
Scion can see futures as well, he probably can give himself any he needs; but to do so would exhaust his lifespan. So he could just out precog Contessa!

On the other hand, with the powers of the other 15 butchers plus all of those the 16th (Glaistig) picket up, Butcher XVII would be absolutely terrifying. Combining foresight with the ability to combine any number of what must be hundreds of powers...it's a better shot than anything else available, at least.

Besides, Glaistig+Butcher...
