New Update: Characters are actually different now, and have usable abilities that require SP, so SP pots have been added. New enemy: Slimecube, they can't deal damage, but take a lot to kill, and you can't move if one walks over you. Sometimes drops TM's, which lets you use grassknot, a new ability.

Soul charge has been stated to come from killing non-Illborn. Alternatively, heavily emotional experiences can generate it. (Such as watching Al get bisected.)

He definitely has power over spirits/souls though, that much is for sure. ...Maybe this is why Oric wants him? Dead or otherwise, I bet this is why, he has power over people's souls. He can call them from places, go to them, change them, how else could he have messed with Riltia's? How he can change view-points others' souls? How he can spot out those who own, posses, or have souls as well? It's making a lot of sense.

Power over them? I don't think so. Messing with Riltia was just using Oversoul mode to add charge to her.
However, Ciro has previously referred to us as "the voices in his/her head," and has even talked to us directly a few times. Now she's giving "us" bodies, allowing us to interact with "our" suroundings directly. Her Soul Star is the Astral Influx. It would seem it was even more literally named than we thought.

Ciro: You can't use Warzone again, so just shoot the rightmost one as hard as you can. Also, are you in Oversoul Mode again, or does that bar mean you're just halfway there? Also, turning into Illborn is apparently the cost for running out of Soul Charge, so make sure not to do that.

Anyway, following the Two-Word naming trend, and hopping on board with Class: Slam Dancer. And good luck making it work, if it comes to it. :3

So, I avoid the theorycrafting stuff like the plague, as I'd rather see things unfold gradually... but what the carp just happened? Yaos turned into Monsters because he ran out of Soul Charge/died? And we, the voices from Ciro's head, are now manifesting in a spirit dual with Illborn Yaos, and/or over Yaos' soul?

Also, Slog was 100% our fault... he had 2HP, and no one even thought to visit the fountain before going into hostile territory. Now he's dead. Good job team.

The fountain wouldn't of healed health, sadly, but we did have gems to the similar effect that we didn't use, so its still our bad really. An easily preventable death.
