Maybe Ciro is the Oversoul; which has such a name, it makes it sounds like it has control over all spirits/souls that ever have/are/will exist/ed

Ciro: Use all your might, as this is gonna be tough
So prepare to buff
Now, call apon it, blood raiment!

(For those of you who realise that my rhyming is bad, Ciro should use bloodshape to form protective armor, something like a light suit of chainmail or whatever costs less than 3MHp.)

People get imprisoned in the Warrens because they can do things they shouldn't be able to. I think Ciro's is to either create people outta nothing, or maybe call them outta nowhere, or something. Its related to the spirits though, Ciro said people's true forms get brought out when a duel is imminent, so wouldn't that imply their true power?

EDIT: Knew there was a reason I was weird-ed out by Ciro talking to us directly more than usual, which by that I mean at all.

Ciro has yelled at us before after his resurrection. And talked about us once or twice. Perhaps we are representing Ciro's previous iterations? Either that or he is summoning us to fight with him.

Action: Shotgun the laughing monster.

He definitely has power over spirits/souls though, that much is for sure. ...Maybe this is why Oric wants him? Dead or otherwise, I bet this is why, he has power over people's souls. He can call them from places, go to them, change them, how else could he have messed with Riltia's? How he can change view-points others' souls? How he can spot out those who own, posses, or have souls as well? It's making a lot of sense.

@Furtuka: Derm has already done so, so maybe, maybe not. I'm still sticking with Ooze Hacker, sounds like fun.

Ninja Derm is ninja.

Actually, since I understand what's going on a bit better, I'm gonna change my class to White Mage. If video games have taught me anything about wave-based combat, it's that healers are absolutely necessary.
