At best it's a pool of ink thats here for no reason; at worst it's a puddle of hateful alien death penises that want to murder-rape you into chunks.
So how are you today?

Everyone: refill SP at fountain.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Slog should be relegated to support status, with our ATTACK-ATTACK-ATTACK status, of course he isn't that useful. Giving him the spellbook was a good idea, as his turns are best used doing such.

Slog: Wear helmet, drink fountain, become Mana Infused!
Ciro: Scan Slog if possible, save.
Riltia: Check both shop, arena, and tip person for any changes.
Al: Don't hit on the tip shop keeper.

uh..
One action useful does not make. Plus the ruby healer... Well.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
We swap out slog for someone with both more hp/sp, bonus's to healing and gems, and a healing spell.

(Also its my opinion that the random dungeon thing that was there is now no longer, guess DL2 might've changed a bit.)

It's quite probable that it's still electricity-themed tough. I guess every DL has it's own theme based on it's sibling. DL7 is probably Oric's level. DL3 is Cain's level, and DL2 is Proxxy's level. I think we can find that the levels are arranged in the order of the siblings.

DL 1 was bland and generic. Ie, no real charecterization at all.

I guess that was us then?

One other thing that I wanted to point out.

We don't know for sure if all we need to do is get the ruby. We could get it, and she could say that it's run out of power and we need to go recharge it or something.

There has been no indication that we're going to need to do any additional stuff apart from getting the ruby, so until we actually find it, and see if we need to any additional things, but from the looks of it, with it just being a focus she just needs it to cast spells. She would've told us if we needed to do additional things.

Ah. You haven't gotten to the 'Paranoia' stage of sidequest overdose yet.

You see, with time, sidequest addiction can lead to numerous problems. First of all, there's denial. You tell yourself that these sidequests are useless, and you're just doing them to get a bit of extra money. Then comes the immersion. You start asking people if they have work for you to do, even if you've just met them on the street. Then, the paranoia kicks in. You start worrying that every time you complete something, there'll be more to it than you thought. I've never even begun to think about what could be next.
It could be simple acceptance.
It could be reclusion.
It could be violent outbreak against those who try to give you work.

It's just...

Too much.

Slog: WEAR THE HELMET YOU WERE DESTINED TO.
Ciro: Scan Slog.

((I don't think Slog was actually a mercenary... He probably just showed up one day like a stray puppy and no one had the heart to kick the little guy out.))
