First off, thank you everyone for the responses so far! Here's a totally scientific statistifact:
The most-stated complaint was with the complexity and quantity of inventory management. Personally, I find it hilarious seeing everyone try to shuffle inventories around all the time, but I understand that gets tiring. I am hesitant to remove "worn" items from the inventory (as that's even more bookkeeping for me and the players), but I will definitely add purchasable or locatable "loot bags" to carry your stuff in. You know, kind of like a bag of holding. Just don't lose the loot bags!
I thought it was kind of odd how many people voted for Riltia as favorite character as well as... well, you see the chart above. Riltia doesn't have that much of a visible personality compared to the other characters.
I agree that tips being purchase-only is an annoying way to pay for a tutorial (if kind of humorous). However, tips are all things you could feasibly figure out via experimentation, so it's not that big of a deal. I will add a method to find them other than the Tipkeeper.
A couple people did note that there isn't much in the way of character advancement outside of what we've seen. However, Warrens of Oric is a long-term game, and anything is possible - eventually. You aren't able to grind for a Sceptre of Childrens' Tears right now, but if the dice line up just right or you complete some inane sidequest/crafting chain, you might get one anyway. If the players really, really want something, they can get it somehow. If this was more of an RPG and less of a dungeon crawl, I would budge on the issue and give you guys the keys to the crafting kingdom, but the main focus is exploration.
Update tuesday! Maybe!
