Well, I don't think so. Considering that its ended its turn exposed, our turn should allow us to actually hit it without the whole guarding thing taking effect, AKA: We should attack.


EDIT: or maybe not actually okay so uh change that.

Ciro: Give scanner to slog, get rifle, guard
Slog: Recieve scanner, Attempt to treat thy own wounds
Al: Attempt to treat Riltia's wounds
Riltia: Guard.

Ciro:  Give spellbook to Slog.  Get and equip Rifle.  Go into Overwatch mode and fire at Met as soon as it drops its guard.

It's not fully fleshed out yet, but essentially, it would be similar to, say, the Pokemon games. Interested GMs who read the thread and are interested in linking up would gain the following benefits:

-Possible appearances from characters in their games in the Battle Arena and other places.
-Trade of items/equipment and other goods between games and their players/characters (for instance, one of your players or characters finds a similar system and puts up a valuable artifact axe for auction (you would PM me about this). Next time Ciro and the gang find a Link System, the players could decide what the offer for it, and if you and/or your player characters agree to it, the items disappear from one game and appear in the other.)
-Games that are linked and actively running for a long time could gain even greater benefits.

Can't say I'm keen on that at all. No offense FFS, it just sounds like it'd be a very awkward and impractical system. Maybe when The Warrens of Oric the Awesome finally gets a GBA port though.

Thus I think the way forward is to give slog the scanner, pick up the rifle, and shoot at the met, as ciro, for AL to see about treating Riltia's damage if possible, for Riltia to block, and for slog to just uh.. I guess try to treat its own damage??

BUT THEY'RE BLOCKING NEXT TURN. The only time we can attack is when they're about to attack, and they just finished attacking, so they'll spend this turn blocking. THEREFORE, it'll be absolutely useless to try and attack. It'd just waste time.

So what's your plan, then?
You're also assuming that block = invulnerable.


The Link system sounds neat. I just need a game to link up with it.
...Maybe A Beginner's Guide could be a prequel of sorts?
