You raise a valid point. I still vote for getting some stats in a Blood stat to increase the effectiveness of being a Blood Mage, plus I think the items we create with the spell have a quality based on the roll. So a Blood stat might increase the quality of the items we make.

Either way, I pull back my previous vote until we better understand Leveling Up or have an addition Stat Slot.
