It's actually useful.
One example: we should get Cherish to their 3 as soon as we can.
Why? check out that Passive ability.
Also, I have an idea about the tiers: when Riltia levelled up, it was mentioned that adding another point into her guard stat would earn her a new skill. From scans, extra tier = new abilities (passive & active)
Oh, and has anybody else noticed the item on the island (bottom left)?
It'd probably be worth if we work out how to get it safely, even if only to sell.
Maybe see if the shaft is long enough to hook it?
