Why? I know it doesn't look right but I can't figure out what exactly is wrong with it. Regardless, it would have ruined the mega man joke, so I'm probably not gonna do it

I'd say it's cause the neck's too tall and head sticks out forward a lot, and is very jarring in general compared to how stylized old style was.

I got so used to drawing heads that jut out forward for the sake of expression that I have no idea how to convert the same-style characters to having necks

We want round faces! I goes better with the cuteish theme of the game. This new art style would go better with a more serious kind of game.

To explain the title: I'm not going to be updating anything for quite a bit. Like a week or more. Might even disappear entirely other than posting in FEF. Sorry, but real life comes first.

I'm getting really burnt out on forum games in general, too. It's not really the ideal time to be continuously producing updates for perfect strangers that I (mostly) hate. Maybe I'll come back to this with some different perspectives.

Can we be sane for a moment and stop trying to game the system in stupid ways, and instead game the system in ways the system was intented to be exploited?

Aside from philosophical questions of if exploiting the system the way it was intended, I agree.

I like the style we have now. It's kinda adorable. And if we go for the convincing the wisps not to join us, the insanity penalty will just become a +20 most likely.

Indeed, would be best to just go the 'tactical map it up in here' route and put the shotgun to them. We tried being diplomatic, it didn't work. Unless we want to try shotgun diplomacy with our Demonic/whatever that gave us the bonus to diabolicalness accolade on, might work then, but really that's less diplomacy but intimidation. They'll probably just try to attack us if we attempt though, I don't really see that working.

I like how out titles seem to be so interchangeable. It's like a hand of bonus cards that we can switch too in a pinch.
