Emphasis this. Clearly, he really wanted this mushroom--or a mushroom much like it, at least.

And if we'd fed him a yellow mushroom or a blue mushroom or a luminescent green mushroom we'd have probably got the exact same thing just with slightly different wording and a slightly different picture, and now people would be going on about how yellow/blue/luminescent green was Slog's favourite colour.
Anyway, shouldn't we have learnt from the Cain theorycrafting thing about making decisions based on their 'colour'?

Actually, we were tricked by Cain. If we'd paid better attention, we'd have seen his color was Purple and not Green, which would have been the biggest clue that he wasn't the owner of the Illborn Exchange.

I have a gut feeling Cain is actually pink.

Aqua, Pink, and Purple are all unaccounted for. Cain is either Pink or Purple, and the remaining Siblings are Floe and the Voice. Interestingly, Blue Chick being a Sibling would mean her Soul Star doesn't match her color scheme. Then again, it might be less Aqua and more Teal, and Ciro is currently bright Red with a Blue Soul Star, so it probably means nothing.

There were only seven pawns, though... Oric and his siblings.  Yaos wouldn't be represented there.

I was talking about his Visual Appearence being pink; his soul star seems it would be Purple, due to his Abilities being purple.

New high score in the fan game with Riltia: 1999. Stupid stupid stupid, could've broken 2k if I'd used another guard and Grass Knot spammed that spider swarm. They get FAST past 1500.

Hehe, yeah, they get really fast, and dang you got way higher than I've gotten, I think my best is around 1290 or something similar?

Betweenford and Cherish are both pretty neat, think I might still prefer Riltia though. Brainless Fighter Strength for the win! I like the concept behind Al, but his Bulwark isn't very useful since Gelatinous Cubes soak those things up like sponges. Maybe have them ignore the cubes, or serve as an X chance to not take damage instead of dealing damage themselves? Looking forward to what the next enemies/characters might be; those sucker things from Outer Underside could attack by dropping from the ceiling, and Wisps have a line attack like Grass Knot...

As for the Cubes being sponges, that's kinda their point, but yeah, I guess since the bulwark is defensive and not offensive in the story, it would make sense for it to not target the cubes, since they can't actually harm you.
And yes, the suckers will certainly be in at some point, they are one of my favorite enemies, and I think FFS himself said he really liked them. As for the wisps being an enemy, well... why do you think empty bottles are left behind when you drink potions?

Hey guys. Let's just not post in this thread ever again, so that people reading it can read at a leisurely pace and catch up. Because we certainly don't want to participate in this game, and the desires of those wanting to catch up far outweigh the desires of those wanting to continue the game.
