Uh. Ciro's bleeding. Why? We didn't do anything this turn that should drain her soul charge, and obviously we didn't lose blood the conventional way here.

Anyways, Sit around 'till Ripriver finishes Riprivering.

Have we scanned Riltia yet?
If not, Wait for Polar Eye to recharge and scan unscanned party members.

Hmmm.
I wonder what might be the specific trigger for that may be, perhaps it may trigger in situations where everything is up to her? That seems likely, of course the roll may indicate that it was just luck? Bbt then the specific definition was 'Rare-Trigger' so it could go either way, though I doubt that's it unless FFS is using a D6 for it because it only got a 5.

Hunt Ecco down and force them to stand trial for the death of BallerInABot or BallerinaBot or ol' rabbit lane or whatever it is...

Leave Cherish behind to deal with the maggufin situation, because splitting the party from the healer is the best thing.

I'm just attributing this to luck.

So, what were the other situations where Ciro bled again?

That one time in the Arena but I can't remember if it was the megaman one or the other one that Ciro started to bleed.

It was confirmed for one of the Theorycrafting Contest explanations that Ciro's sudden bleeding was caused by losing soul charge. This has only happened on three occasions, to my memory; first, while activating tactical combat with Megaman, second when we resurrected Slog, and finally, I believe we bled when we "entered" the room past the mercenary door, though I might be remembering the last one wrong. Oddly, attacking with the Astral Influx's Second Shift doesn't seem to cause bleeding, despite the soul charge loss.

Oh, I thought that one was still unconfirmed. Nevermind, then.

Check soul star.

We may have lost soul charge, depending on how the ability works.

Also, I find it interesting that Hexaguard triggered on a 5. Either it's a 5 on some bigger dice (d20, d50, d100), or there are conditions that need to be met. I'm leaning toward the latter; perhaps the attack needs to be lethal or near-lethal! If it was lethal-only, it wouldn't be very good, since relying on even a 1/5 chance to save you from death is pretty dumb.

Maybe it needs to be able to OHKO the enemy.
