+1... This... This actually isn't a bad plan at all.... It might not qualify as "good", but it's not bad either.

I'd count "bound to fail" as "bad" regardless of if it's going to blow up in our faces or just waste our time and stats.

After reading some of the recent suggestions, I think I'm going to put a blanket -1 on all bloodshaping shenanigans for now, as many of the suggestions so far have been ridiculous and I'm not going to sift through 5 or so pages of random suggestions to try and make sense of it all.
While experiments in bloodshaping are important, perhaps this isn't the best time for it.

Um, what? I don't think we can research things. We can occasionally spontaneously know things if we get a high enough roll, but otherwise we need to ask the hint person.
