That's what I'm assuming it does, yes, which would give us more control over who does the tanking than "let's make a Hero Tower in front of the squishys."

Oh I know to which Council you refer, I just doubt their existence. It's not like Underside is particularly densely populated, and I don't think anything important goes on that Chief isn't involved in. More to the point, we know where to look for Chief; where should we look for a shadowy mystery council?

I think we shouldn't sell the mask. It seems not all that great at a glance, but can become pretty useful depending on what loot we get in the future. Or just right now if we make sure to use it correctly.

It's a portal. It probably leads to nothing/Chief's lair.

Also:Combinatorial makes us do another hit for the cost of 1. 2 for 2 deal, except it doesn't deal doubled damage, and next turn after activation. But that's just what I'm seeing.

Edit:FFS probably killed Clockiel because he would have been exploitable for infinite Destiny Die, with a fountain. No rolls would be failed.

A few quick things we should probably do before heading anywhere:
1. Storage. I'd say store the bloodband, cheery leaves, wisp essence, DL3 key and fusion scroll. That's a lot of stuff we don't need right now. Also give Al the Mask.
2. Weapons. Let's unshift the soul stars and Bloodshape some stuff. Maybe the clot-cutter again? And something for Cherish as well, preferably. Something new?
3. Finally, Have Al cast maximised Druid's Bulwark on everyone else before overestoring SP.

I see a door. And again, there's someone inside we could claim damages from.

THEN FFS SHOULDN'T HAVE LET SOMEONE WITH INFINITE LUCK-ALTERING STUFF BE A POTENTIAL PC. Also, we're limited by inventory.

 ...so we'd get to loot ancient, possibly powerful artefacts dating from before Oric took over. At worst, we'd encounter some big bad which would help us Theorycraft in the long run.
