You're right- 1d8 d2s, which still cuts the expected damage from that chunk to 1/3.

Flashback characters seem like something we might glean information from, and we've already seen past versions of Ciro, Riltia, and Al; Cain or Proxxy might be cool, but Cherish is in the main party.
