Al: Attempt to dual-wield IWoM and his little knife. Probably fail, dropping the IWoM on the killer robot. Attack killer robot.

Ciro: Don't summon blood thingies. Throw Fountain Pence at the killer robot. (Coins are surprisingly deadly--throw them hard enough, they're basically bullets.)

+1'd.
+1, but create a blood sling to fling the coins with.

(Roll: 16) You quickly Bloodshape a slingshot as the deathsearchbot turns around, distracted by the noise of Al unsheathing his blade. It grabs Al and lifts him up into the air with his claw. You lose 2 MSP (Maximum Skill Points) from the exchange.

(Roll: 20! 3*2!) You pull back and sling two Fountain Pence at the horrorbeast. It doesn't look particularly fazed or damaged. (Roll: ???) Al's face hits the ground forcefully as the bot shows off its hefty downward hook.

(Roll: 4) Al finds himself unable to dual-wield his BFS and blade, so he switches around and fights with the weapon he's most comfortable with. (Roll: 13, 6) One two-thirds backflip and a fist full of vengeance later, he cleaves his blade into the the beast's grey shell.

Do we have the HP to spare?
No, but it only takes Max HP.
I'd imagine it also chops off current HP. It has every time we've bloodbent.
Yeah, but every other time we've been at max health right? It probably only does that to keep ciro within her new max HP, I support a blood sling.
...Shoot, the obvious counter was used!
Still, I dunno. I'm basically saying what I'd do in freeform's situation. After all, we rehealed to max HP when absorbing the blood stuff, no? So if we didn't lose HP like I thought, we could simply lower our max HP to our current and then reabsorb all our stuff for cheap HP regen.

(Coins are surprisingly deadly--throw them hard enough, they're basically bullets.)
Er...No. Not if someone's throwing them. Even at terminal velocity, it's only going to cause a bruise, at most. It won't 'slice through the air' like a bullet would. When falling, it acts a lot like a feather. Even, so it gets fairly fast. And I doubt anyone could get it to its terminal velocity just from throwing it. A Sling, however, may be a good idea.
The problem is that you can't throw coins at bullet speeds. I thought that that was obvious. It was a joke. (I'm betting a bullet isn't notably deadlier than a coin if you just dropped it from up high instead of firing it from a gun.)

...Did we permalose 2 Fountain Pence? If it works like that, that was a bad idea.

Ciro: Try to regrab the fired Pence and fire them again if successful.
Al: AAAALBEEEERT JEEEENKIIIINSS! (Attack attack attack. I need another trope.)

((Also, this is the first time Al's had the opportunity to tick one of the extra boxes on his Bulwark.

It may be too much SP lost, though. Up to the players.))

Ciro: Look back, see if the blue lady is within earshot. If so, call her, help would be nice.

Actually, absorb blood slingshot, blood shape the knife and dog pile on the robot.

((Definitely not a ploy to remove her from the ominously glowing one directly beneath.))

(Roll: 13) You reabsorb your slingshot and make another Empowered Clot Cutter just like you had before. -1MHP, -4MSP. (Roll: 3) Meanwhile, Al takes his best shot at the mecha-fiend, but it easily sidesteps his reckless advance.

(Roll: ???) You're too late to stop what happens next.

Time grinds to a halt as you feel an immense power welling up inside of you.

A power sought out by evil rulers and corrupt dictators for millenea. One time-wrought eye gives life, another takes it. Total control. Total domination. Total and complete power.

Do the blood magey thingy!

Your Soul Guage is pushed to its current maximum capacity. Oversoul Mode activated.

What will you do?

Use your ultimate power over blood, life, and death to stitch Al back together. With upgrades. Pointy upgrades

Al dying like this would be way too anticlimactic for us to let him be
