+1. I'd like try it with electric or ice damage first, but we don't have any of it. Guessing based on the appearance, I'd say that the Valkyrie is either magic or falls into the category of esoteric elements that the tipkeeper mentioned. Then again, given that Ripriver appears to be wooden, organic isn't impossible.

Right, that's what I'm trying to say. We don't really know if Ripriver's species is actually wooden, or indeed organic at all, however. They might be golems, machinery, spirits, magical beings, or any number of other things. Unlikely, yes, but would it really be the strangest thing to appear so far?
Additionally, the Valkyrie is gray, and Ripriver is pink. This might simply be the difference between a pale and tan person in real life, but it could also mean that the Valkyries are androids, or golems built in the image of Ripriver's species.

Things worth noting:

1.  Ecco called Cherish the "apprentice".  It appears he knows at least of her time with Proxxy.  On review, it appears that title comes from her class of White Apprentice- I could have sworn Proxxy made her that, but I guess just assistant, really.  But how did he know that, anyway?

2.  The Valkyrie has 1 DR, which means that Aeroblast would really destroy any flying enemy without DR.  Makes me wonder if the LAZORGATORDRAGON has DR, because swigging that magic pot before taking him on would then be super effective.  [To be fair, we rolled really well with that attack.]

3.  The "respond asap" matches the text on Proxxy's command screen, meaning we can pretty much (again) confirm that was Ecco talking.  Notably, he sent through the "die for your lives" message.

4.  Proxxy DID know something was odd when Cherish came from the underside... but didn't know about her soul star.  So what exactly does she know about those two?



Once we handle this enemy, we need to ask Ecco about that.

This is the most enhanced I can get with my knowledge. Someone else will have to do the deciphering, but if you ask me it looks like plain 'ol gibberish.

That said we need a page for the glyph translations.
