This thread is for all your glorious little crossover ideas. Thing versus WH40K was one of the starting points, having evolved out of the Thing (Jeffrey) versus Xenomorphs discussion.

So. Any crossover ideas you have, feel free to share them! Xenomorphs versus Pinhead, Shinji versus Star Wars, WH40K versus Star Trek (PS: 40K wins. Hands down.)

Thing would lose in WH40K, btw. There is an infinite amount of daemons in the warp. I'm sure there are at least seven of them that are incredibly similar to the Thing.

Note: Might I remind everyone to be polite. Or don't be an asshole. Don't attack people, offer reasonable arguments. Be good. Blah blah blah. Or I will lock the thread. And if necessary, report people. Seriously, we can all get along. I know we can. So just do it.

Incidentally, why are there not more Homeworld crossovers? It's got just enough structure that you can write in just about any characters and backstory that you want, and the tech is fairly interesting if you ignore some of the gameplay limitations and extrapolate reasonably (like, say, ignoring the whole "cap ships with a total of 2-3 weapon types, running the entire gamut from shipkillers to point defense" thing).

There's more than a few sizeable ME crossovers... and that's just on FFN. I've seen a good chunk elsewhere, as well. If you were interested as to what grounds have already been tread on the subject.

I left out Battlestar Galactica because my impression of the series is that it's just Humans vs Robots. Whereas in the other series there are several factions all vying for power.

At least the original series had a bit of factional power play, if I recall correctly.
