Okay, my crossover.

Issac Clarke from Dead Space VS The Shadow/Brennenburg Castle and all it's inhabitants.

Daniel from Amnesia the Dark Descent VS the Necromorphs.

Who survives?

Does Issac Clarke keep his armor and weaponry? Does Daniel get it instead?

Hm... Issac is severely effected by his loadout, but Daniel wouldn't have any clue how to use it since he's from the 1800s and thus an iPod would be way out of his reach.

I say Issac can't keep his weapons and armor, but Daniel doesn't get anything for his troubles.

Isaac would probably create a lamp oil thrower or a laudanum cannon. Daniel can hide and run really well and is just as resourceful as Isaac, but not nearly as engineer savvy.
Isaac is more prone to insanity though.
I'd say Daniel would be able to survive a Necromorph incursion [killing very little of anything and merely surviving by being evasive] whilst also being able to withstand the mental gauntlet that destroying a marker would require.
Then again, does Isaac need sanity to kill everything in his path?

I'd give the edge to Daniel.

I think Issac might have a higher body count, but the advantage that Daniel has is that he wouldn't be noticed by Alexander because he doesn't really do anything too obvious. If Issac was killing Gatherers and Brutes by the truckload, Alexander would be definitely concerned. Not exactly a point to Daniel, but it's a point against Issac.

@Death Star vs. "Moon"

Death Star wins. If the moon can go into hiding in plain sight, then sure, the moon might have a chance. But remember:

That said, if it were to go into hiding (hopefully as a planetary moon that the Death Star deems insignificant, because otherwise, there's no way you can't spot a large eyeball/pimple thing in space), it may be able to get a jump on manipulating the weak stormtroopers into doing its bidding and forcing the Death Star to basically kill itself. But the insanity only works on weak-willed people. Stronger people just hear and feel hallucinations, and that's not accounting the effects of the Force and how it could affect said hallucinations.

@Isaac vs. The Shadow & Daniel vs. Necromorphs

Daniel would die due to Marker-related insanity. He can't even look at the abominations in Brennenburg for minutes without killing his sanity. Might be mitigated a bit if he had Isaac's armor, but he has a weaker will than Isaac.

Isaac has become insane over time, so he might last as long as Daniel would in Brennenburg Castle if he didn't bring his Plasma Cutter and RIG with him. Oh, and also what Fniff said concerning Alexander.

Yeah, he does seem quite beat up about his younger sister who died of an illness, so that would be definitely Marker territory. However, surviving Marker probing usually needs above-average intellect, which Daniel has thanks to his obvious ingenuity and the fact he's an arachalogist, a job that requires patience and an eye for detail. So, one point to Daniel. Plus, he may not have the greatest of wills but he managed to get through Brennenburg without having succumbing to cataonia, so he may have a stubborn streak to him.

I'm not sure it's the presence of life threatening things. What happened in Brennenburg was supernatural, I'm not sure Isaac would fair all that better.

[Though now that I think about it, Daniel's fear of the dark is crippling compared to Isaac. Point to Isaac].

You sure? I can think of some pretty damn soft sci-fi. Involving single individuals demolishing entire battlefleets :P

Gurren Lagann versus a hard SF AI. The AI spontaneously combusts while trying to process what's happening.

My crossover.

Captain Walker from Spec Ops The Line (Endgame) VS Vaas from Far Cry 3.

Two utterly insane men from two games that deconstruct gaming tropes. In the red corner, we have the drugged up, psychotic Vaas. He's got the homerun advantage here with his army of pirates and know of the land. In the blue corner, we have the fallen hero Captain Walker. He's got the advantage of Delta Force training and the teneous alliance of two similarly trained men: Lugos (Sniper support) and Adams (Light machine gunner). Who wins (for a certain value of 'win' in Walker's case) and who dies?
