In the year 312, the First great Cr'tak migration started. All across the empire, the crystal beings gathered around the spires. And then they marched. For the entrained eye, it seemed as if the roads, or even the ground itself was moving. Thousands upon thousands of Cr'tak went west, seeking to colonize the mighty jungles. Explorers made paths, which the main group used to survey deeper and deeper into the woods. Locations for spires were sought and found, and new roads where constructed. The animal life was allowed to join, remain or flee, but the trees and plants didn't get this choice. One by one these were slowly assimilated from the inside out, until they reached a stable symbiosis.

As the situation settled down, and the four original Cr'tak spires were returned to order, the Cr'tak noticed the silence. And then, quiet at first, but soon growing in strength, the speres started to sign, proclaiming their knowledge and their ideas towards the stars, and into the fields.

((Presumably I'd try to convert it because it'd be a 'balance' between the Cr'Tak and the K'Lak. Yay for being converting balance god who doesn't do much.))

((To be fair, you are a god. If you had a k'lak as a sort of avatar, you could have it march south and merge with the cr'tak.))

A habit of roaming around and blowing crap up would fall under civil traits, the Cr'Tak could still shrug off most of the magics that the K'Lak is capable of casting (those spires can take some punishment), wrapping a spire in magical webbing would only make it stronger and a crossbreed would be impossible. (Due to their wildly differing physical makeup, and the Cr'Tak assimilate which overwrites the previous stats)

((Unless, of course, a god were to do it somehow. I won't. I'm not too overly interested in seeing a pissed off living magic nuke.))

With the safety of the home fortress and the power of the cloak, the rulers have begun to take a bit more of a proactive approach. The tribes have always had their own power structures, but the rulers projection of power has caused more unification, but also more contenders for rulership. With more battles, the quality of the rulers also increases.

The thickening population in the northern tribes has caused the necessity for more food, and as such, the more intelligent of the K'lak have begun to breed farm animals.(The K'lak, being spiders, are mainly carnivorous.)

And as the population thickened, and the fortress always lied on the horizon, many begun to travel, seeking more land and a place to hunt.

Seems the K'lak and the Debiru will be meeting if colonization is successful. Will the K'lak be bewitched, or will the Debiru end up as smoldering corpses?

Joruen sighed.  This was not according to plan.  His attempts to ensure the success of the Cr'Tak in the southern Hex had failed.  He would be a poor god of cunning and secrets if he did not have another plan however.  Once again, he set to work.  He focused on the plants in the region, urging them to grow ripe and bountiful foodstuffs.
Use my powers to increase the amount of edible plants in in that southern hex.  Hope that combined with the Psychic song it will attract more animals.

OK, I feel I should say this before too many try to make one but capitals can NOT be designated, they are based on population, the first hex to hit 6 is your capital until its pop hits 0, at which point another hex becomes your capital. Either when it hits 6 or the hex with the most pop if already over 6.  if that is a tie then its the next to increase in pop.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Doran, regretting his decision, is content to wait and watch the affairs of the world.

Joruen realised that in his attempts to aid the southern Cr'Tak, he had neglected others elsewhere.  His avatar walked the land to spread knowlage of the god of wisdom.
Send avatar to 20.17, convert more people there.
