Got the launcher running, prolly won't be able to be on tonight, does anyone else have a server to pitch in? 2 to 1 isn't a definitive thing. 

And I hate to say it, debvon, but I don't think I've ever seen a server switching cash shop option in a free korean MMO. Not to say it won't happen, but it seems unlikely.

EDIT: FOr anybody considering this game, just download the full client, it'll take much less time and you only have to uninstall pando media booster afterwords.

EDIT2: Okay, gonna get on einherjar since nobody brought anything else up. Ooooorrr it's still gotta patch. I swear.

Okay, so I ended up downloading the client manually because that is the faster option, except now the patcher doesn't seem to be doing anything, or at the very least, going at the same speed as just downloading the manual patch version was.

I've noticed the servers are down again too, does that effect patching?

Wat? How are y'all playing this? Isn't there an IP block in place? I wasn't able to connect from Canada.

I think they recently launched this outside of korea sometime in december, not that it was playable, or patchable, outside of it for a while due to technical issues.

Im playing on freyja lvl 23-24 Aco going for monk. IGN: uKuLeLeX (im preatty sure there is another ukulele, just one that almost always beats me to my nickname)

I still haven't managed to get the patcher patching at a decent speed, stays at 1% for upwards of an hour.

Maybe I'll redownload it and try again.

I got this on Steam two days ago (only just came out over here) and so far either haven't been able to create a single account, or have accidentally made a few dozen - does anyone know which 'Account' and 'Password' you're meant to use in the Launcher?

Welp. Played it for a bit before bed last night, still a grindy game tbh but hey thats RO in a nutshell...

BUT...

Attempting to play it today is terrible. Though Steam there seems to be a problem with their method of connect to those who don't play it though steam called Warpportal. Which when loading the game, loads forever and doesn't change. You can't log in via Steam atm unless you redownload it...

Sigh. Some bugs but hey thats what happens right...

Seems its out of beta? I played both the monk and the priest until a few levels after the job change, and i must say its defenitly not ragnarok, i mean, it was not bad but i dont know if im going back.

Does the cash shop still try to screw you on grouping? In the original, you could either find a priest for your group or purchase a cash shop resurrection item to revive group members. I played the english-translated other-asian-server version a bit, but they changed the priest's resurrection skill to have an extremely long cooldown so that you had no choice at all but to buy cash shop resurrection items if you wanted to do difficult group stuff. Did the north american version carry that over?

Yeah Resu has a long CD i think it was something like 30 minutes to 10 if max lvl. But i didint find it crazy, at least not until the point i got to, if some one died it was his fault and most of the time no one died or everyone died.

Solution: locate Ro2Client.exe in your steam folder and launch it. Works for me without even launching steam

I've tried that, but what do I actually enter into the Account Login screen?  I set up about 3 different accounts and I don't know whether to put in an Email Address, Account name etc.  Plus, it breaks if I try it more than twice so it's pretty damn tedious trying to narrow down which one it is.

Magicians...
They need to Chug thousands of Pots to continue fighting when in combat. If for some reason you are alone and fighting a boss like character, and you run out of Mana Pots. You might as well go up to him and let him kill ya...

There is no incombat mana regen or anything. The out of Combat Regen isn't that great either. The downtime of a depleated Magician is uber long...

There is a skill which is an AOE of sort, reads "will hit 4 enemies at max." NOPE!!!
Hits 3, only 3...

Why has this not been noticed before and fixed yet?!?!?
