Set the webs on fire. This isn't supposed to be nonlethal, right? If it is, I can just heal his wounds after the battle, right?

This is a highly respected martial arts tournament, not some bloodcrazed backalley shankfest, sir.

The senseless murder comes later.

If it is, I can just heal his wounds after the battle, right?
Well, you're probably not an actual healer, but in theory yes.

What are the victory conditions? If I won by just incapacitating him, wait for victory to be officially announced, then  help free Murglau. Otherwise, throw him out of the ring or something to achieve victory.

What are the victory conditions?
"Somewhat vague."

You have to defeat your opponent. This is open to certain levels of interpretation, but generally has to be more thorough than, say, pinning them.

Would webbing them so they can't move and then removing them from the arena work?

Depends on how permanent and debilitating the webbing is. In many cases he'd just be regarded as in a safe place, so you'd have to free him to defeat him.

Staggering slowly to his feet, Meran wordlessly turns to Blankface, and leaps into the air, crashing down with a massive blow designed to embed Blankface in the ground. On impact, he then pulls him out of the ground, and blows him back with a powerful kick to the chest.

Counter the flying attack with a suplex!

((Shouldn't I now have 4 strength and 2 speed?))

Counter the assault by grabbing onto Shanaxi as he flashsteps, and then piledrive him into the ground.

Ask the referee for confirmation on defeat conditions while hauling the sack of silk towards the edge of the arena.

Spend a moment to gather energy to myself. Release energy in a spherical, shock wave blast to destroy the webbing.

Turn 3: Burning Spirit

Flash step above him and preform a meteoric drop pod assault.
((Shouldn't I now have 4 strength and 2 speed?))

Counter the assault by grabbing onto Shanaxi as he flashsteps, and then piledrive him into the ground.
((No, you should have 4 Str and 1 [1/2] Spd. I must have been looking at the wrong stat block... which hopefully means I didn't accidentally buff anyone. Only one person has/had [1/2] Spd though, so that much at least seems safe.))

[2] vs [5]
[5] vs [4]

Shanaxi trips trying to flashstep, so Flashbulb grabs him and flashsteps himself. He then attempts to piledriver Shanaxi into the ground, but Shanaxi manages to break free at the last second, merely thumping the ground a bit roughly.

Shanaxi: +1 Agi exp
Flashbulb: +4 Agi exp
+2 Agi!

Crescent kick to knock him down.
Grab Baka's foot while he attacks and counter throw him down
[4] vs [2]
[3] vs [5]

Baka whips his leg around in a crescent kick, hitting Murderboat clean in the face. The dwarf grabs onto his leg in the process, but can't do anything with it as Baka expertly shakes him free, sending him rolling a few times on the ground.

((Also it's better to bold your actions.))

Baka Inu: +3 Agi exp
+1 Agi!
Murderboat: +1 Agi exp

Spend a moment to gather energy to myself. Release energy in a spherical, shock wave blast to destroy the webbing.
((Strikeout your old actions. Otherwise I can't tell what you actually wanted to do.

See, I just now realized after already running the turn that you had a third action.))

[2] vs [2]
[3] vs [4]

Gangrenious struggles futilely against the mass of webbing, which just sort of wobbles in response. Meanwhile, Murglau draws power to himself, then releases it in a burst that stretches out the webbing in kind of a bubble before settling down again.

Gangrenious: +1 Str exp
Murglau: +1 Str exp

Staggering slowly to his feet, Meran wordlessly turns to Blankface, and leaps into the air, crashing down with a massive blow designed to embed Blankface in the ground. On impact, he then pulls him out of the ground, and blows him back with a powerful kick to the chest.
Counter the flying attack with a suplex!
[5] vs [3]
[2] vs [4]

Refusing to stay down, Meran shoves Blankface off him, staggers to his feet, and leaps into the air. Blankface reacts too slowly, and Meran crashes down on his legs, flattening him into the arena floor as he tries in vain to grab hold of the battered fighter.

Meran: +2 Str exp, +1 Agi exp
+1 Str!
Blankface: +1 Spd exp
