About the whole "Show new replies to your posts" thing.  Is there anyway to get some of the messages to stop showing up?  Say I posted in one thread and other people keep posting there, but I don't really want to see it clogging up my notifications anymore, can I get rid of it permanently?  Thanks for any help.

If you look on the right, just above where the dates of the last posts are listed, there is a button to mark them all as read. It won't stop further posts from getting the threads listed, but it at least allows you to remove all the dead threads in one go.

Or you guys could just use the notification system like a normal person.

Even though lets be honest the smf notification system is kind of crap, but it's at least a damn sight better than dealing with that.

Yeah I'm new to this forum and tbh I never really noticed that feature until you mentioned it.  Guess I'll use that from now on.  Thanks.
