Within the vent, there appears to be something that looks like a pile of pus with a few bits that seem to glitter.
Room 102
James manages to get out of the straight jacket completely by biting at it. The orderly jerks back.

The orderly charges at James with another syringe in hand, but he trips and drops the syringe.

Cafeteria
Ethan goes to the cafe and gets some noodles.

Name: Daniel Evans
Gender: Male
Diagnosis/Job*:  Diagnosis is for patients. What is your major malfunction? Don't worry, you might not actually be as insane as one would expect. Job is for orderlies. What do you do around the asylum?
Appearance: A tall, thin man, Daniel stands 6'2" at age 35. His skin-and-bones body shows a hint of muscle tone, but not too mich, giving him a lanky figure, with blone hair worn short, and no facial hair. His eyes are brown. He dresses in blue jeans and a button-up shirt.
Biography: Going into psychology in college (paid for in part by a fencing scholarship, though he lost it halfway through), Daniel graduated around the middle of his class. Gaining a job at a nearby asylum, he learned to care for those staying there, but when he clashed with those running the asylum on several matters, he was laid off and became unemployed, finding work as a janitor, as well as several other odd jobs, his displeasure with the people who fired him growing. Eventually, he got a bit too angry when he read he report on the asylum after he had left, and the old management dissapeared for a bit before reappearing with several injuries, though they weren't maimed. (he could have killed them, but he couldn't) In the ensuing quiet court case, he agreed to work at peaceful rest as an orderly while recieving counseling on the side.
Personality: While he may seem often brusque and withdrawn on the outside, he actually does care about the patients, though he prefers not to get too close to others.

A lanky orderly walks into the common room. Glancing over at the vending machine, he mutters to himself, "The vending machine again? Ah well, I guess i can try to fix it up."

Glancing over at the unfolding scene, Daniel calls over to the two women, "Leave Henry alone, girls. You should know that he deals with enough as is."

Intervene on Henry's behalf if needed.

((So yeah, part orderly, part patient, and he resident handyman.))

Henry looks at Elena with a amused smile. "I would ask if you were joking, but knowing you people, i respectfully decline." He says as he turns to the orderly. "And thank you, for saving the only sane man here."

Punch the orderly at the base of the skull, knocking him out. Take the syringe.

Narrowing his eyes, Daniel stares her down. "No. You stop bothering him or O send you back. You know fighting won't help you here- you'll just get sedated and put back in your room. In a straitjacket. And I don't think either of us wants that. So please, back off."

Elena looks over at Daniel, completely oblivious to his threat. "Hey, you said that you think you can fix the machine? I was just gonna bust it open, but I'll let you give it a try first."

Ethan returns and gives the noodles to Elena. "Here you go, Elena."

Rebecca assumes a defensive/protecttheprophet stance.
"You're all expendable. Even I am. You orderlies? You can't stop anything. It'll keep on happening, the violence. Every straightjacket breaks. You're all gonna die, and the prophet and, hopefully, I will stay alive."
She grabs a small clump of noodles and eats them.

[Fniff]

(We'll get you food, Elena, JUST YOU WAIT! *steals food*)

"Yeah, I can fix the vending machine later today. Just give me some time," Daniel says to Elena.

Henry stares at Rebecca. "You declared everyone Expendable, everyone including the Prophet, who you consider holy. Are you a heretic to your master, whatever it is?

"I directed the you at everyone who isn't Elena. I will guard her and keep her alive."

Elena eats some of the noodles with her ungloved hand. "What's that Sir Glove. Oh, I almost forgot to feed you too." She then eats the rest of them with her gloved hand, before looking up at Ethan. "Thanks for the noodles. I don't know what Sir Glove and I would have done without you."
