No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Tiles can have multiple improvements?

Roads make the cost to move across the tile 1, regardless of the unit moving, and the terrain being crossed. For perspective plains normally cost 2 movement, and infantry only have 2 movement anyway. (Cavalry have 5, and flying units don't care about terrain).

You can only have one improvement per tile, but you can have one of every building in your city.

Also, turn will be up shortly.

Was thinking of claiming the mith now, but I'm nowhere near to being able to use it yet, so:

Fuck! I can't make any more farms anywhere, I assume because they're not close enough to my city or whatever, and I have no free pop to claim with. Damn.

New objective: Get enough people for 3 labor at a time! Create library! Be learned!
You can stockpile labor to use later, actually. I imagine this takes the form of half-build buildings and such.

Spoiler: Orders (click to show/hide)
And so, the Dragon's Land began construction of The Great Road, heading almost perfectly straight southwest from the old lair to Mineralhub. Its expanse, forty-five feet wide and over 50 miles long, was paved with fitted stones and had a primitive median down the middle. If one were to look upon it from above, the differing colors of the paving-stones form a mosaic, transforming elegantly from a landscape to abstract art to poetry as one goes along its length. It is truly a masterpiece of draconic artistry.

So, yeah, a road!

Bah, that road isn't going to be 50 feet wide for just 1 labor and no stone.  :P

Also, for everyone building roads: They are totally useless until you start to move troops to defend/attack someone and the troops getting there earlier/later will make a big difference, its better to just save the labor for later use then to build a road (at this point at least).

Don't worry, you will get another free pop next turn.
Size 2-3 cities can build 1 tile in any direction around them, size 4+ cities can build in a cross shape (basically a a 5X5 square with it at the middle with the corners cut off).
