Note to Urist--In which you thank your dwarfs for whatever thing they did

Just like the "Note to Urist--In which you express your frustration to your dwarves" thread this is like that but where you thank them for something nice they did. Like sacrifising themselves to kill that forgotten beast etc.

That previous one also seems to be from August.  At that point both options of making a new thread or using the old are reasonable.  The OP chose the new tread option, I see no problems.

To the blacksmiths,

Thank you for finally making a fitting statue for the mayor's room.  Forgotten beasts are all well and good, but I like this mayor and the statue commemorating the founding of the fortress is a much better subject matter.

Dear Urist McMason,

you're a prolific, nay, legendary statue-maker and have produced a great many masterworks in your career, so it was kind of inevitable, but i'm still highly pleased: you made a marble statue, of yourself, raising - a masterwork marble statue! A right shame this one was only rated exceptional, but it's still so ridiculously self-referential that i made it the centrepiece of the statue garden/petting zoo (now with a real caged Troll!).
