If I had to create a victory condition for the game it would be finding the cure for the zombie virus and putting it into the water supply and turning the water back on.
But zombies don't drink water...

No but all the survivors will become immune.

Ignoring that these are magic zombies.

So yeah you would have to kill Glaaki or whoever the eldergod of the undead is called.

Actually they are Magic, Science, and Radiation zombies if I had to guess. All zombies in one spot.

Zombies are the least of player's trouble, really. There are mutant-mushrooms, giant wasps/bees/ants, horrors from other dimensions, ROBOT POLICE, metro-humans (it's the best way to describe them..) triffids and desktop-crashing NPC's that call you a fucking fuckwad. Zombies are just the most common thing that you face.

You'd need 17 epic quest chains to fix all the problems of THAT world.

Edit : IVAN doesn't have any forums or info about the game, and it wasn't developed for 6 years now.. Very inviting indeed!

Well some of those problems are at least linked to zombies. (Giant animals and mutants being linked to zombies which is all linked to radiation)

Though hillariously the Triffids are a lot more dangerous in the game then they were in, well, the fiction they originated from. If they are what I am thinking of. Talk about an upgrade!

Other issues is just how the world seems to be set against you. Which desperately needs to be fixed. I can understand the Robot police being irrational given they are just automated, but do they really not care about anyone else?

Well having played it I know what a blind letsplay of it will be. "Ohh my goodness what killed me? Why are hedgehogs so strong?"

The original Triffids were only really dangerous because most of the world had been blinded by a convenient comet.

I started a game with the goal of finding a car and wrecking it before i resume recording, but i've had a very good start and found a KATANA and a dog! (still day 1.. 0 kills, 2 books read)
It's a 7/7/13/11 ranged-focused character.
Should i pick up that for the recording, or do you folks want to see games from the very start?

We might not ever again find a katana+dog combo.. Hmm.

Oh right, this place.

Give the dog a viking funeral.  Even if you already butchered his corpse.

I'd like to suggest Elona after Cataclysm maybe. The UI is atrocious but the game's craziness is a lot of fun, both to watch and to play :) Also it's ballbreakingly hard.
