There seems to be a general laxness about crime. It's like we're the star of a movie made by the gun control advocates...

I have a feeling we are in an ad about gun control. Shoot someone, run away, freeze in place and narrate about how, if gun control continues to be this lax, this could happen to YOU.

See, if gun control continues to be this strict, you could be found defenseless as this happens to YOU.

See that all could have been avoided if we shot first and asked questions later.  I say stab him straight through the eye socket with a banana screwdriver.

We don't need a witnessed murder on our hands. Especially in this scenario.

Murdering this guy would be a worse idea than the gunshop owner. The assailant is going to a lively party, so we can deduce he has an active social life. And if he dies, that means the many people with relations to this guy will put more pressure on the police to solve his murder.

You jump up, and stab someones arm as they try and grab you. Someone yells "Oh shit!" And you take the opportunity to leave, high tailing it down the road as cries of "Oh shit" echo down the street. You hop on your bike and pedal down the road, but suddenly red and blue lights light up behind you. You hear a loudspeaker blaring "Pull over to the side of the road and put your hands on your head!

((Lax about crime eh? The gun shop was in one of the seediest places in town, they don't much care about crime))

Wait, the gun shop was the seediest place in town?
A. How is this not sounding like a Gun Control Propaganda video?
B. How was the gun shop still standing when we got there?

Run, the cops cant shoot us in the back unless we threaten some one.  they have rules about that.

The cops don't know that yet. >.> They know we stabbed someone, but knives aren't exactly long range weapons. They wouldn't be able to justify shooting us for running away, even if they KNEW we have a knife. They shouldn't know we have guns yet.

Don't rely on it, this is our first encounter with the law. They could be goodie two-shoes that follow all the good police rules, or they could shoot us and then high-five each other before going back home to snort snow off a trick's ass.
