[EVIL] tag, biomes, and trading
« on: January 09, 2013, 06:19:13 pm »

Okay so [EVIL] makes creatures only show up in evil areas right? Does that include underground? If I put EVIL and SUBTERRANEAN CHASM on the same creature, will it only show up in evil subterranean chasms?

And while we're at it, do fanciful creatures show up in trades? How do trades work as far as creatures go, in fact? Do they just bring whatever's in the biome they're at? Can you make a creature impossible to be traded?

Thank ya'll in advance.

1. Yes.
2. I think so.
3. Yeah, I think that's right.
4. No, I don't think so, unless you make it not a pet.

1 - yes, with the exception of underground
2 - nope, it will show up everywhere in the caverns (see maneras, trolls and creeping eyes for examples)
3 - nope, evil and good and neutral are only a function of surface biomes anyway, at least for plants and creatures
4- I'm not sure, i don't see why the fanciful token should prevent trading.
5- Caravans from settlements bring a choice of creatures that are common in the biomes of their settlement, and that can be used by the civilization in question
6- Indirectly, yes, but there's no direct and easy way
